Wow, my Knicks really really stink. 43 points. Not good times. Bad times.

Thank god I kinda gave up on the NBA a few years ago.

On to the Rangers free-fall.

Well I can't say I feel sorry for the Knicks, although I do like Spreewell, I hope they trade him to a better team. Him and Camby are probably the only people they can move so they'll probably have to deal one of them if they want to make and changes. Or they can just stink until all their players are gone.

It's sort of similar to the Wizards situation. They took a chance on Juwan Howard, Mitch Richmond and Rod Strickland who all came with hefty prices and pretty much either had to wait for their contract to run out or pay for huge chunks of their salary when they moved them. Now they are rebuilding but already looking better.

Jordan actually wasn' that bad as a owner, getting rid of Howard, Richmond, and Strickland. And drafting Brendan Haywood who turned out to be good.

A New York paper reported that Spreewell said "I really do like it. I don't want to leave," "You'd have to, like, put me on the Lakers to get me out of here."

yeah, like the Lakers need ANOTHER All Star player on their team.

Oh - this is the Knicks they can't draft worth a damn recently.

First Round picks of the Knicks recently
2001 - no pick
2000 - Donald Harvey (rights traded to the Mavs.)
1999 - Frederic Weis
1998 - no pick
1997 - John Thomas
1996 - John Wallace, Walter McCarthy, Dontae Jones
1995 - no pick
1994 - Monty Williams, Charlie Ward
1993 - no pick

And this doesn't even include the infamous Jerod Mustaf pick. So of that crop, the only person still on the team is Charlie Ward - who while being the best QB in NY, they are trying to move.

And most of those no picks where because they Knicks traded them away in horrible trades. (Like getting Erick Strikland from the Mavs for no good reason.)

Yay!! Hate the Knicks. Love to see them lose.

Maybe Sprewell will choke out someone else, like Camby!!

My Knick hate is still focused squarely at Charles Smith. Rackin Frackin not knowing how to dunk a basketball.

Spreewell is too good to stick with a non winning team for too long... if he does like it in new york then they better step up and start building a good team around him...

Wow, that is some really bad drafting, didn't realize it was that bad.

Too bad ex-Gator Donnell (not Donald) Harvey hasn't done anything yet, but he really doesn't get much playing time to prove himself, should've stayed in school. Then again, so Mike Miller and Kwame Brown should've too, man what a team Florida would've had if they all stayed.

Who in the blue hell is Frederic Weis, anyway?

Anyway. As a Pacers fan, it breaks my heart to see the Knicks doing so badly. I really wish they'd get better. They really are a good team...

...

...

...

...FOR ME TO POOP ON!

WHOO! Hey, Knicks, how ya like them apples?

No, but if I can be serious for a minute-- I don't like the Knicks. Never have. Never will. So I don't feel the least bit sorry for them at all. As a matter of fact, I'm enjoying it immensely.

Frederic Weis was this big stiff white guy (7'2", about 250 lbs) out of France who never played a second for the Knicks as he had got hurt overseas.

If you remember, Weis was the one that Vince Carter dunked over in the 2000 Olympics. That moment can be relived Here

Oh - in case you are wondering. The folks the Knicks could have drafted instead.

Ron Artest
Dion Glover
Jeff Foster (a center having a breakout season for the Pacers)

Or they could have drafted Wang Zhi-Zhi if they wanted a crappy foreign import to play center.

Stupid Knicks

Clippers are a good team, could finish as high as sixth, maybe even fifth if the Spurs continue to suck.
