With the UFL season starting this Thursday, it's time to look over the four rosters and ask yourself: Who the hell are these guys?
First up: Ted Cottrell Jim Fassel's Las Vegas Locomotives. All this information was grabbed from their UFL roster page (ufl-football.com) - visit it for photos (of MOST of them) and all sorts of inane trivia!

Well, did you know that Isaiah Trufant is Marcus Trufant's brother, huh?
That, I did not know.
Filling in a few holes, Wikipedia has Josh Scobey's info: 12/11/1979, 6-0, 220, Kansas State, Oklahoma City, OK - so now you know more than is on the UFL page.
John Madsen's birthday, says Wikipedia, is 5/9/1983.
D.D. Dorsey is actually DeDe Dorsey. I remember him with the Colts. David Kircus played for Denver I believe. Probably just remembered the name because I just knew announcers were waiting to say "circus catch". Sammy Parker was in the NFL as Samie Parker. I think I'll trust the NFL over the UFL. Josh Scobey the RB I remember because it was confusing having both him and Josh Scobee the kicker in the league. Andrae Thurman spent time with the Packers. Their page for him says he went to both Southern Oregon and the University of Arizona.
Would ya lookit that, a Scottish type person at kicker. I guess I may have to throw my support behind these.
I wonder if he's really Scottish or if we're just claiming him like we did Lawrence Tynes when the Giants made the Superbowl. Gano doesn't sound like the most traditional of Scottish names.
Tony Parrish I remember from the NFL obviously. He was pretty decent for a while. Wound up somewhere in the NFC East at the arse end of his career. I woulda guessed washington, but wiki (en.wikipedia.org) says Dallas.
I seem to recal Scobey being the KR or PR for some team the last few seasons. I'm sure I could look it up, but you are looking for what our name recognition is here, right?

Wrong one. Josh Scobee is the PK for the Jaguars.
No, Josh Scobey that Guru is talking about did return kicks for a year or two.

My bad, I just saw the P and K part. Then added in picking up Scobee on a fantasy team this morning and it all clicked in a wrong way.

For the Seahawks, at least. (Can you tell I love me some KR/PR in fantasy leagues? Mmm, return yardage...)
I can certainly understand why people would think that, though I'm positive you are going to be in for a bit of a shock this season. That team's gonna be good. You wouldn't believe all the positive changes that have already come about.
