Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir.
UFC on Fox was a great night for knockouts. Liver punch, counter right, flying knee, and The Punk's headkick to Diaz.

Speaking of which, how do you go years only losing to Melendez then finish a guy like Nate and still rank below him?

It was a great night period. Apparently my opinion of DC runs directly opposite to that of the world at large (and Cormier himself) though. I wasn't totally sold on him in Strikeforce, but thought he fought well and smart against Mir, controlling from start to finish and generally looking like he deserved to be ranked up there with the best. General consensus seems to be that he was underwhelming but he did jump up a spot, so there's that.

I continue to be amused that Edgar is ranked Mendes and Lamas at Featherweight but above them in P4P rankings.

Also, looking at those rankings makes me realise how much sense Overeem v Nelson would make (assuming Roy makes it past Kongo) and how much I'd like to see that fight. Also x2, given that Roy's most notable win in the last few years was against.....Struve?....and yet he's up to #6 it would suggest the HW division still ain't that deep.

I also like how Chael has beaten or has a pretty good chance of beating at least 50% of the guys ranked above him at Middleweight.

That must be a bunch of guys not ranking him at MW because he's at 205 now, right? Otherwise it doesn't make a lick of sense.

Wait, we can check this! (ufc.com) Actually, didn't there used to be an easier way to check this than going down each voter on a drop down list? Am I being blind?

Anyway, my lazy ass made it through the first five or six and all of them had Chael ranked at MW and several of them had him dropping 6 or 7 places since the last rankings.

So yeah, not a lick of sense.

Another great win by Jamie McMurray as Chip Ganassi wins both Indy races and Daytona in the same year as owner. $1 shipping all week on www.basspro.com . Results are courtesy of NASCAR.
