It's purported in the Chicago Sun-Times that one of the free agents Jerry Angelo is looking at is Jevon Kearse. Consider me very stoked in the interest department.| Promote this thread! | | HrdCoreJoe

I'm gonna resist the temptation to opt for a sarcastic answer here.
If the guy seriously see's himself as a starting QB then he's lost already. Nobody in their right mind (which admitedly doesnt exclude all NFL owners) would pay him the money he would want for that role.
If he's willing to accept going back to his old 'Slash' role and sork his way from there then someone might be willing to take him as a 4th receiver who can also come in on trick plays and special teams. But at the age of what, 32 or so, its not the time to be adopting the one step back, two steps forward approach to your career.
I said this time last year that I though he was a competent player in many positions but a good player in none. Maybe its better he accepts being remembered as a versatile player who had a couple of great years than returns to go through the same thing in 12 months time. | CRZ

Somehow I don't think we'll ever see Kordell post a perfect QB rating in a Superbowl. Even if it is just for 1 pass
EDIT: Spell Check?! I don't need no stin.... aw crud.

I think the biggest mistake made in regards to Kordells career was shoving into the "slash" role. Because now everyone loves to pigeonhole him . Let me let you all in on a little secret that everyone in the NFL already knows. Multi role "slash" players would NEVER work in the NFL over a long term as a permanent postion. it worked back in 95 because it was new. No one had seen it, so they couldnt really defend it. If the "slash" type player could really work EVERYONE would be doing it. But they dont because you would get a good player killed. There was never a future in keeping Kordell in that role and everyone knew it.
I still believe that Kordell has a great QB in him fighting to get out. He just needs to be coached well, and a staff and a team to have confidence and faith in him. Maybe Dennis Green down in AZ can be the guy that can get something great out of Kordell. I mean shit, if the NWO of the NFL Jeff George can still get calls from teams every year surely there is a place for Kordell Stewart.
I dont know, maybe Im just blindly loyal. Who cares? ROCKET LEFT BABY!!!

Well, well, well. If it isn't the serious, elusive, Leroy Green. I've been waiting a long time for this Leroy. I am sick and tired of hearing these bullshit Superman stories about the wassa legendary Bruce Leroy catching bullets with his teeth. Catches bullets with his teeth? Nigga please.
