One of the highlights of Conan's new Tonight Show is the recurring segment known as TWITTER TRACKER (OH YEAAAHHHHHHH)
For thos of you who watch Letterman - or Nightline - or, I dunno, SLEEP at that hour - here now are all of the clips to have aired thus far, via NBC and Hulu (sorry people in countries that Hulu hates! Try YouTube.)
I've seen most of these watching the show, and I must say that I love this segment (I actually love the entire show period these days, but that's niether here nor there). The best part is after the Tracker asks "BRO'S A NO NO FOR CO CO?!" and it proceeds to be a running gag with Conan HATING the new nickname.
(edited by El Nastio on 9.7.09 1603) You know, I really don't know what to put here. Close your eyes and thank of something funny!
Love the segments and both Conan and Dave have been ON FIRE since they started going head to head. Great time to be a late night television fan (and thank gawd for TiVo and Hulu/YouTube).
Of particular note on Letterman have been the "Lyle the Intern" bits. Great stuff!
"You are going to get a certain amount of snarkiness on the Internet no matter what, and my rule is that you don't post anything that you wouldn't say to someone's face." Marc Andreyko (Writer of DC Comic's "Manhunter")
Me too. Tintin, as cool as the original stories are, has always failed whenever someone has tried to update, adapt, or modernize him. And "boy adventurer and his dog" is not a genre that seems like it would resonate with modern audiences.
