This is a good date movie only if you don't mind sitting in a theater full of squealing 14-year-old girls. I dunno, maybe it'll be different after opening weekend, but getting tricked into seeing this movie last weekend made it quite the ordeal for me.
I also hadn't heard much about the book series long before this movie. If I had I probably would have skipped this movie since I hate romantic comedies and the like, and I definitely am not in the teenybopper demographic this movie is geared towards.
The movie wasn't awful, but it wasn't nearly what it was cracked up to be. On another note, I think it would have been more aptly named The Awkward Vampire.
They're starting to notice more and more what a good thing they have with Principal Lewis. So I was happy to see him get his own round of "Skinner got fired". But nothing could beat watching Roger go totally overboard with his guardianship.
