I hoped to get this done before I started work at 2 pm, but it didn't work. So here it is now. THIS WEEK IN TV * Monday through Wednesday are finale days. The only shows that don't end this week (other than the stuff premering this week, of course) are: Medium (ends June 1st), According To Jim (ends June 2nd), Reaper (ends May 26th), The Unusuals (has series finale June 17th), Law & Order (ends June 3rd), and Harper's Island (ends July 11th). And the stuff that never ends like 20/20, Dateline NBC, Cops, and America's Most Wanted. * Season 5 of The Bachelorette starts on Monday. * Then Glee premieres on Tuesday on FOX. * ABC airs Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) (The W at Amazon) on Wednesday. The CW counters with Take The Lead (2006), starring Antonio Banderas. * So You Think You Can Dance starts Thursday on FOX. * And then Don't Forget the Lyrics! returns from hiatus on Friday. It last aired January 23rd. A month later Dollhouse premiered and it's been in that timeslot since its finale. * On Saturday, ABC's got Game 3 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals, the Lakers playing the Nuggets in Denver.
All 5 networks have specials on Sunday, but some are less special than others. * ABC's got part 1 of the two part TV movie Diamonds. It stars Judy Davis as a US Senator who dies in a massacre in an African diamond mine, which "uncovers the darkest secrets of the international diamond trade." David appeared in both the miniseries and TV series version of The Starter Wife (both aired on USA Network). The second part airs the following Tuesday. * CBS, Million Dollar Password returns from hiatus. This week's episode is a rerun (William Shatner/Aisha Tyler), then new episodes start the next week. The last episode aired January 4th. * The CW's got Love Is All There Is (1996). I don't think you're interested, but who knows? It's got Angelina Jolie, but of course Angelina Jolie wasn't THE Angelina Jolie that she is now until, what, Tomb Raider? The movie is "Romeo and Juliet" if the families were rival Italian catering families. * FOX has got NASCAR's Coca Cola 600 from Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The Indianapolis 500 is earlier in the day on ABC. * NBC is re-airing The Last Templar the Canadian miniseries that previously aired on NBC in January.
A buddy at work told me about this show and I got hooked on it. There's been a couple episodes where someone has died during sex, and the sex scenes were pretty graphic. I was surprised the censors allowed it.
