If you noticed that this wasn't here on time, then I apologize. I went straight from work last night to free 3rd row courtside seats to watch the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Houston Rockets. If you were watching that game and saw a shaved head in a white shirt courtside, it was me.

PREMERING/RETURNING THIS WEEK: The Mentalist, Survivor, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dollhouse, The Amazing Race, King of the Hill, Family Guy, The Simpsons

Monday night is all screwed up because the president is addressing the nation. The big 4 have all decided to air his live address which starts at 8:00 pm Eastern. Each of those stations are dealing with that differently.
ABC: The Bachelor moves to 9:00 pm Eastern; True Beauty is moved to Tuesday, replacing Primetime: What Would You Do?, which will return the following Tuesday.
CBS: Two and a Half Men airs at its normal time, The Big Bang Theory moves to a 9:30 pm Eastern start time, and CSI: Miami airs as normal. Worst Week has its season finale next week, and How I Met Your Mother returns live on March 2nd.
FOX: 24 runs as normal, House returns February 16th.
Mountain and Pacific time zone viewers will get to see reruns of The New Adventures of Old Chrstine, 24, Heroes, and True Beauty as well.
It appears all four networks will rearrange their schedule for the Presidential Address scheduled for February 24th as well.

* On Tuesday, ABC is prempting Homeland Security USA for a pair of Peanuts specials, Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown (1975) (The W at Amazon) and A Charlie Brown Valentine (2002), which is apparently only available on VHS. Considering Tuesday is not, in fact, Valentine's Day, we can assume that ABC belives HSU is the weakest show they currently air. Oh wait, they air the two again on Saturday night as well.
* Also on Tuesday, The Mentalist returns with new episodes after being in reruns for a month.
* On Wednesday, American Idol runs a special two-hour episode, which will return next week.
* On Thursday, Survivor returns. It will be eminating from Tocantins, one of the states of Brazil.
* FOX's Thursday night lineup is prempted by the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards. It will be hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry. It calls it "A Multi-Culture Awards Show, From An African American Point of View." I guess that first part explains last year's wins by America Ferrera and Masi Oka.
* On Friday, we finally see the return of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the premiere of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Terminator last aired the week of December 15th.
* Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters return with new episodes this week. The other two ABC shows on Sunday night are still reruns.
* On CBS, The Amazing Race returns on Sunday night.
* The CW Sunday Night Movie jumps into the '90s with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in GoldenEye (1995), which apparently is no longer available by itself on amazon, and is instead only available as part of the James Bond Ultimate Edition Volume 3.
* All 4 FOX Sunday night cartoons are new this week.

One rating note. The CW Sunday night movie did about double what it normally does. I had no idea "Teen Wolf" would be such a draw.

Nielsen actually delayed February sweeps because they didn't want to be affected by DTV switch problems. The 2009 "February" sweeps run March 5 to April 1, and then the May sweeps run April 23rd to May 20th.

I thought the Klaus storyline could have been funnier, but the payoff was nice. I thought last week's episode was a lot funnier.
