Special programming abounds this week.
Monday was all special programming. You may have seen How The Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon version) and Madagascar on ABC, It's A Wonderful Life on NBC, or Cheaper By The Dozen on FOX. Check out what Milwaukee's FOX station had for a synopsis: Innocuous fluff about ambitious Midwestern parents (Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt) trying to balance their burgeoning careers with the mayhem of raising 12 children. Jeez, FOX 6, calling it innocuous fluff is kind of negative.
Tuesday you might have seen (or can still turn on if you're reading this right after I posted it) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl on ABC.
On Wednesday, NBC is airing two episodes of Most Outrageous Moments. FOX is airing Christmas With The Kranks. FOX 6 gives it a thumbs down: When their daughter goes away for the holidays, a suburban couple (Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis) decide to skip Christmas altogether. A Yuletide comedy lacking ho-ho-hos. CBS airs The Kennedy Center Honors.
On Thursday, FOX is airing Ice Age. FOX 6 informs us: The film's best scenes involve a squirrel-rat hybrid trying to bury an acorn. The CW airs the Family Television Awards presented by the Association of National Advertisers, which sounds like the most boring thing imaginable.
FOX has apparently given up programming this week, as Bruce Almighty airs on Friday. The FOX 6 preview calls it "hit-or-miss".
CBS airs Good Night And Good Luck on Saturday, and The CW airs Creator, a movie from 1985.
