(They had several hours of it last night on Hallmark for Halloween too.) Don't know why we suddenly have a glut, but I'm not complaining. I'll be cranking up the old VCR...
Meanwhile, has anybody else been watching Carnivale on HBO? It's pretty good, in that "Twin Peaks" meets "Six Feet Under", with a splash of Joseph Campbell for continuity, way. :-) I suspect that if you haven't seen the whole thing, that it's pretty much impossible to drop in on & have a clue. However, tomorrow on HBO2 they're replaying all 7 previous episodes, plus the new one, for anybody who thinks they'd like to catch up.
And to top all that off, my Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD set arrived! I may have to set up an additional TV. :-)

I think a package must have been going around...KBHK in San Francisco showed a marathon LAST Sunday.

Sunday, October 12 was the day for the Philadelphia showing of the marathon on WPSG (upn57.com). My initial response to this cross-country showcase was to conclude that a DVD release would soon be forth coming, just in time for the holiday season. However, I couldn't find any mention of "The Addams Family" while searching through news of upcoming DVD releases or DVD pre-order sales. Perhaps those who own the rights to the show are doing this to determine how much interest there may be in an "Addams Family" box set.

I believe WB11 did this last year as well.
Also, TV Land Canada has begun showing The Addams Family daily.
