Television doesn't begin to do justice to Kane. First there was the runin -- that is an impressive sight in person. It didn't come across that well on TV, but live, you can see why the ring empties immediately. The second thing was the jump off the top rope -- that is one big guy flying through the air! Tonight is the first time I've ever seen him in a live show, & I was impressed! ("Mongo impressed.")

I was backstage at a house show back in '99 and got to see Mr. Jacobs pretty close...The man is a freakin Monster.

TV does NOT do that man any justice.

And not only is he big, he really moves awfully well. (Not only for a big guy, but just in general.) I never got that impression from my TV at all. He needs to bring in a case of beer (or 3) for the camera guys & director one day, & work out how to get him photographed better! Damn!

It's the one reason Kane keeps getting pushed, despite not drawing much of a TV audience. His schtick is so much better when you see it live! Of course, you can also say the same thing for Rikishi. Sometimes, you don't understand a guy's popularity until you witness it for yourself.

I remember at one RAW a couple of years back, we had to figure out ahead of time who had upcoming pyro, as the first one was so damn loud it scared the hell out of us.

Not to be "Super Smark", but whether live or on tape, I wouldn't find Rikishi's schtick entertaining.

Must be that whole "ass in another man's face" thing...

I've always been impressed with Kane...very athletic, and just plain huge. And, a much better performer than his "brother" Taker...now if he would only go back to his old costume...

Yep, Kane is just frickin amazing in the ring. His top rope lariat when his feet hit the ground before his opponent looks amazing in person. He's just huge... hell, all of the guys look much bigger in person, especially Chris Nowinski.

if you mean "old costume" as in his last one, with flames and no sleeves, i agree. this new taped-up-kane looks awful, as does his new mask. but i never liked his one-sleeve thing.

Couldnt agree more on the mask thing. I dont know if they're trying to make him seem more human by scaling back the mask but he just looks plain odd now.

I went to the Armageddon ppv one year and I have to agree with the Kane and Jericho entrances being really loud, but probably the loudest was the Dudleys, this was their old music of course, the one that started with what sounded like a bomb being dropped, it really DID sound like a bomb being dropped.
