Going to their website this AM and it now asks for people to join for $3 a month for access to their shows.

Too bad, as I have enjoyed their shows quite a bit. But not enough to send nearly $40 a year.

I hope they get some money out of it.

Actually, TRW no longer exists...

Earlier this week they were bought by ECCW, a local garbage wrestling Fed, and their titles have been retired, and their TV time slot has been taken over.

ECCW is a local NWA affiliate, and Michelle Starr of the GOD (promoter, and booker of ECCW) is the current Candian champion, While Juggernaught is the current heavyweight Champion.

Crud. They really had some solid tag teams there. Oh well, still plenty of internet wrestling available...

Yeah, its a big shame, as ECCW is a hardcore league, and cant utilize the TV timeslot thats dropped into their hands.

Alot of the TRW talent is crossing over, but mainly as jobbers.

Ice, and Davey Richards are on the ECCW roster, but not many more.

If you wanna check out decent wrestling in that region you should look at Pinnacle. A local AWA group they book Jack Evans, TJ Wilson, Harry Smith, Davey Richards, Homan Tornado, Steve Corino , Jeggernaut and others. Found the link of of Evan's web site.

That looks like some good stuff there, and there are a couple of TRW folks there.

I've exchanged a couple of e-mails with Vid Vain about this, and there are a few things in the works. He didn't seem to think there were too many people watching on the net, so anyone who has watched the shows in the past should drop him a line.

One of the main obstacles to any media program, be it broadcast or internet, is advertising. Revenue has to come in some way or another...so in order to avoid your favorite net shows (wrestling or otherwise) becoming pay-for-play, a note to the advertisers might be a good idea as well.

Yikes. This was worse than I remember. Who booked this card? Sooner or later we should mention the evolution or maybe just the mutation of Scott Steiner.
