Starts with scene set Mauro Rinallo and the Count.
Match 1: Vid Vain and RAGE vs Local 13 Wrecking Crew (Killswitch and Wrathchild)
Vainrage attack early! Wow do Vainrage cheat! Wrathchild getting suplexy with it! Wrathchild is looking like a cross between early Undertaker and Alice Cooper. With suplexes. Vainrage pulls off a Doomsday Device but not a win... Not bad at all. This Local 13 team are beginning to grow on me.
Match 2: Kasaki vs Mark Mayhame (pronounced Mayhem)
Mayhame looks kinda like a cleaner shaven biker-era Undertaker. Doesn't get off to too good a start with a big height difference. Mayhame puts on a melon squish head vise that looks pretty good despite it's sillyness. Nice touch from the Count, with the Gordon Solie-like explanation of why that is a punishing move. Mayhame hits the Clothesline from Abbotsford! For two. The end comes suddenly and Rinallo says "Shimmy Shimmy Koko Pop". I wish I had that job. Mayhame needs to refine some big man offense.
Match 3: The Ultimate Davey Richards vs Machetti Brown
Richards has had a concussion, see, and has been channeling the Ultimate Warryr. Machetti has the ex-con prison garbed thing going on and he's pretty good at it. No, wait, the graphics guy, who misspelled 'Heavyweight" last ep, spells is Machetie. Which is all sorts of wrong. Luckily, Richards wrestles like himself and NOT the Warryr. You should see the nasty looking fall-back double knee backbreaker (my description). OO! A surprise ending. Watch this, it was good.
An interview segment sets up...
Match 4: Kurt Sterling and Sweet Daddy Devastation vs "Rocket" Randy Tyler and Mike D
There have been teases of a squabble twixt SDD and Sterling, lets see if it happens here. Tyler is soooo dickish here, it's great. SDD pulls out a Giant Swing, and the name Don Leo Jonathan is mentioned. Sterling follows with an airplane spin! SDD and Sterling nicely sell their own dizzyness after those. Sterling gets to be Ricky Morton as Tyler and D show some nice teamwork. A tarantula from Mike D. Tyler's shirt says "I rule" on the front and "You suck" on the back. Heh. The end teases more dissension. Well done.
And we get an interview with the G.O.D. to close it out. Beefy Goodness rules.

I've been recapping Velocity for a few weeks now, attempting to convince more people to watch the show. My track record on watching Heat has been a little more spotty, just because I'm usually not in the mood to watch TV when it's on.
