Yes, that's right. Triple H, of all people, was accusing Edge of not being able to carry someone.
I'm gonna' go watch Royal Rumble again. That Hunter/Steiner match must have been better than what I remember, considering Triple H is just so awesome at carrying workers.

A. Triple H stands nothing to gain by this. It's not like Edge is taking his heat or TV time. He's on a COMPLETELY different show. It doesn't make a BIT of sense, and sounds fishy to me, Meltzer or no.
B. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't get a "HHH is holding down a Net-Favorite" report. Maybe the first, one, two of them were true. But now we're reaching for stuff to try to hate HHH over. Cutting Nova's hair. A "non-push" for a guy not on his show. I don't think so. Especially not when Edge is viewed externally (and apparently given his use) internally as one of the top guys on Smackdown.
C. This story was already reported weeks ago as "Vince doesn't like Edge"
D. I'm pretty sure this is DEAN'S fault, because HHH is not DEAN. DEAN is DEAN.

A 3rd place face on the opposing show is the LEAST of Triple H's problems right now. Trust me, this is Vince's stupid move because he's the pinhead who wants Albert over, and he was pissed when Edge couldn't do it.
I've conveyed many HHH conspiracy theories, but I just don't see any obvious evidence to support this.
