Speaking as a fan, this could be really good....or REALLY bad. I can understand why they might do it now, with the 20 aniversery of the line coming up, and all. With the right director, it might actually not suck.
---- edited to note: oops...Bizzie Izzie already mentioned this in the "trux" thread.

Then I hope you NEVER played the Blockbuster Exclusive N64 game. That thing was an open sore.
Yeah that was pretty bad. Here's hoping the PS2 games scheduled for late 2003/early 2004 are any good.
Oh, and I agree with SchippeWreck, bring back Peter Cullen. Especially if they are using the original lineup of characters, which is what it seems they are going to do. Give me Beast Wars quality writing with old school characters, and I'll be happy (though the Dreamwave comics are doing a decent job at that).
In the end, I'll put more faith in it when it gets out of development...to do what it sounds like they want to do is going to cost a LOT of cash, to make it look even moderately good.

Well, at least 2 of the G1 character voices have passed away that I'm aware of not counting Orson Welles as I doubt Unicron would be playable if he is in the game. The voices of Jazz (Scatman Crothers) and Starscream (name escapes me at the moment) would be different, and Jazz is featured heavily in the G1 game's intro movie.
I've seen some in-game footage of the Armada game and it looks okay, from what little was shown. It's the other one that has to be released over here...
Ryan Newman's eighth win of the year gives him a 42-point lead with six races to go. Bill Elliott makes the biggest jump in the standings from 19th to 13th with his second-place finish and bonus for leading the most laps.
