They asked Darryl if he wanted to be on the show because he liked wrestling or he wanted to be on MTV, and he said MTV, and that's what he told them when he auditioned. He said he didn't know about wrestling and didn't seem to care. This set Tazz off, and Tazz basically told him he wasn't tough enough and that, furthermore, he was and would always be a pussy. Darryl sat there and took it, then walked off the set, only to be back (though no longer sitting next to Tazz) when they came back from commercial.
As a TE mark, I was really looking forward to this thing. But I'm not sure anyone came off looking good. Taylor, who I always liked, looked different, didn't say anything interesting. Alicia and Jessie picked up where they left off. Pete and Jackie were just as catty (althouh Pete came off far worse). Chris Harvard didn't help the image that he's a jerk, which is fine since he's now a WWE heel. Hawk still couldn't explain why he left. Josh referred to Taylor as "her." The hosts were terrible.
I really like the idea of a reunion, but they tried to cram in so much that you could tell nobody's full comments were put on camera. I wanted to know more about what Annie, Danny and others have been doing, but we got very little of that.
Later tonight, the nWo take their overbearing methods to new madness with the launch of their own exclusive pay-per-view event. Do you want to watch 3 consecutive hours of Nick Patrick screwing over WCW wrestlers for the low low price of $29.95? Yes?
