I think they should cancel this whole Tough Enough thing and do a show about Jackie's mom. That woman is crazy. Telling Jackie she is throwing her whole future away by making out with Pete? Was her whole future tied to her boyfriend, who seems to have some pretty significant problems of his own? And not to be judgmental, but wasn't Jackie waiting tables in a topless bar before she got this gig? Yeah, this will really derail the future of this rather ambitious young woman. And Pete, buddy, this can't end well for you. Have some dignity. Speaking of which, Kenny, when a girl is trying to mount your buddy right in front of you, it's probably about time to dry off and go inside.

Who knew Jake couldn't wrestle? I sure didn't. I guess that goes to show the limited emphasis they're putting on wrestling this time. They really haven't given us a feel for how any of the others are in the ring. Could all the questions raised about Jake this time be telling us that he might not be their guy after all? Is this a Tough Enough swerve?

I think they should have an ep devoted to why Jackie's Mom gave her son breast implants and dressed him in girly things.

The woman looks like the textbook definition of the classic saying "She fell outta the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down."

I agree...

Who's boyfriend is it her's or her mom's???

Your throwing your life away over this stupid bastard who:
1) is dating a transexual
2) hangs up like a little bitch when someone calls
3) Priority mails a piece of paper with 2 lines on it
4) gets EXTREMELY pissed when his girlfriend kisses another guy

I'M REALLY GETTING SICK OF THIS SHOW.

There was very little wrestling, and it was all a bunch of blown up bu\_\_$|-|i+

So we all know now that the man/woman and abercrobmbie and fitch aren't going to win...I think they just blew it by doing the freekin Real World angle...

I've gotten sorta morbidly fascinated with it. If a soap opera jacknifed on a highway and oozed its contents on the grade, I think it would look like this.

Pete needs his ass kicked. In the real world (as opposed to to "The Real World") they have a name for what he's doing. . .it's called uhm. . .STALKING.

And uhm. . .what the HELL is making an action figure of them supposed to teach them about wrestling. Maybe they'd be further along if they didn't take them on these dick-off field trips.

Could Pete be more of a loser? This must have been the first time he has gotten any action and the girl had to be completetly plastered for him to even get that. Now he is in love. What a tool.

I blamed Jackie last week but I feel sorry for her now. Her mom sounds like a nutjob. Her boyfriend is some kind of controlling asshole and now she has to deal with tiny Peter every day.

They need to let Bob Holly lose on Pete one time.

Bah.

If I were on that show, I wouldn't go to parties. I wouldn't make out with anyone. I wouldn't drink or smoke, or do anything to give you ssssssssssick freaks anything to smirk about.

I'd go in there, completely focused on winning. While others went to parties, I'd be in my room, watching wrestling tapes and studying.

Um I guess I;m alone in liking Jackie. But yes, her boyfriend is an extreme tool. While it's one thing to wish a girl to not deviate while living in the same town, it wouldn't really be entirely uexpected for what happened to happen. And it's really too bad she's beating herself up over it. If things are over with him, get beyond it because as much as Pete is equally a jackass, he's right; Jackie's boyfriend isn't good enough for her. and Her Mom is just plain psycho. but mine is too so I can see the whole non support thing happening. Who do they like as a WRESTLER???

During Jackie's first phone call to her mother on last night's episode, was anyone waiting for Jackie's mother to tell her that her makeout session with Pete in the hot tub was going to go on her permanent record? God knows she said everything just short of that. :)

This show is still on??? I lost interest in the first episode when it resembled Real World more than it did the first Tough Enough.

Never mind the kids on the show, they should sign Jackie's Mom to a contract--she could be a major heel, cause she sure scared the hell outta me.

Right now I think Hawk's doing the best, BUT the teaser for next week showed that Hardcore made him cry. He's nutty enough to just up and quit over nothing--remember how he freaked out over the "homework" assignment.

However, Jake makes the best action figure! Still, at this point he's starting to remind me of Lex Luger or even Brakkus, or at least that's how he's being portrayed. Still, I don't think he's any worse than Maven as far as personality, and his look is better. He must be pretty bad in the ring...but do they expect people to really be GOOD in the ring? As someone said in an discussion of an earlier episode, I think they just want them to be good enough to do really rudimentary things for a couple of TV appearances, and then they'll probably go off to the developmental leagues where they can REALLY learn to wrestle.

I also got the feeling from the teaser that there is going to be some kind of stalking scenario going on between Pete and Jackie.

Say what you want about the show, and I admit I'm not too crazy about the soap opera developments of late, but this is the only WWF show that has me interested enough to tune in for every week.

During the jacuzzi sexy sex free(sex)-for-all sex scene, I was kind of hoping Bob Holly was gonna pop up out of the water or from behind a tree and slap Pete Who Looks Like Van Wilder into some kind of painful submission move.

Assuming the crying thing isn't some major breakdown on next week's show, it looks like Hawk Enough has this year's thing locked up. Pete's just in it for the soap opera storylines, Kenny Nuff looks like he blew it with the whole drinking episode from last week and now we find out that Jake Enough can neither wrestle nor talk. It's like that G.I. Joe where Cobra fixes it so Lifeline, Dialtone and Shipwreck become the leaders of the Joe team, and at the end General Hawk humiliates them all by announcing that Lifeline has the ability but not the desire to lead, Dialtone has the desire but not the ability and poor Shipwreck has neither the ability nor the desire.

It all still kind of makes me feel bad for the Danimal, who they seemed to describe as the best wrestler out of them all.

I don't know about the women (or does it not have to be a guy and a girl each winning this time? I'm having trouble keeping that straight). Linda Nuff doesn't seem to be evil anymore like they made her look in early episodes and seems to be doing pretty well. I'm not sure the third one is even on the show anymore or if she has a name.

The whole Jackie Nuff/Pete thing seems like overkill. Kind of feels like they're scripting the whole thing, unless everyone she knows really is crazy. More than a few people, I bet, were thinking "Hey, she's dating Bischoff!" or "Dumped by Fed Ex, her boyfriend must be working for WCW!" or something. Well, OK, I was. I say they run with it and cast Brock Lesnar as her boyfriend and have him show up at House Enough to throw Pete through some walls and press slam him through the Tough Enough pool table.

The whole show would probably be a lot better if they dumped the Tough Enough kids and just had a show about Snow, Holly, Chavo, Ivory and whoever drops by that week. I like Holly better than Tazz here - Tazz was just constant angry bluster, but Holly looks like he's trying to be civil and these kids annoy him enough that every conversation ends with him throwing someone to the ground and trying to cripple them. Like that early episode where he was in the parking lot, waving goodbye at his car, and Pete yelled "We'll miss you!" and Holly went from "See ya tomorrow, kids!" to "Now they have to die." Or this week, when he and Snow came over and were all smiles, and then they saw the place was a wreck and Holly realized that he was going to have to kill them again.

I hope Maven shows up and taunts everyone and makes fun of them next week because whichever two win will be the only people in the locker he's allowed to bully. That would be funny. And Nidia might talk, that would be weird.

I have to agree with some previous assessments. I can't say I'm all nutted up for the Real Worldization of TE2, but it's got that train wreck quality to it. Once you start watching it, you can't not watch it.

Anyway, I don't find Jackie all that bad. She's decent looking and looks like she could, um, be good. All that bending she was doing last week was fairly impressive.

And dude, what's with Jackie's mom telling her daughter that her man needs to control her? That was actually kinda frightening.

Obviously, you weiners have never taken Psyche 101 like I have.

ONE, Jackie probably has a history of "making mistakes" of one kind or another, and both her mom and her boyfriend know this.

TWO, mom & boyfriend also know that in Jackie-speak, "one or two drinks" means twenty, and a "quick peck on the lips for a second" means tongue-and-grind.

They've gone through this kind of crap with her before, believe me. Their reaction seems harsh to us, but truth is, they know her a lot better than we do, and they've had it with her drama.

and THREE: To prove my point, Jackie KNOWS she did a bad thing. So why did she call her mom, who she ALSO knows will validate that very feeling? The phone call was totally "Tell me what a bad girl I've been."

Gives her license to do it again.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. All we have to go by is what MTV shows us, so even though my first impression was "Jesus what a psycho her mom is", after a little while I reached the same conclusions Shea did...

Plus even if Jackie had gone back and told her mom and her boyfriend that it was more than just a kiss after initially saying it was, the magic of editing could have been used to make her look more sympathetic...

Another thought I just had was that it looked like her mom wasn't exactly thrilled with her being on the show to begin with... if the situation had been that Jackie had gotten injured, something tells me we might have gotten the same scream fest out of Mommy Dearest...

Jake reminds me of Solomon Grundy. You know from the "Superfriends?" Dude speaks in broken sentences and damn near none of what he says is intelligible or in any way logical.

By default, he's the most entertaining to watch. I'm pulling for him to win because he's a as dumb as corn.

Dr. Unlikely, that was one of the best analogies I have ever seen regarding any of the GI Joe third season episodes. Very sweet. I will say, that Shipwreck could have lead the Joes well if they only listened to him. He is after all the Han Solo of the GI Joe world. Plus, Hawk was a douchebag, Duke was far cooler as the leader.

Back to the show, I didn't watch much of it, but I have gathered from recaps of it is this:

1. Jackie is a boozer who likes to bang any white guy she sees.

2. Jackie's mom and boyfriends are about as supportive as G.W. Bush is with the enviromentalist. Plus, they are jerk offs.

3. Pete is a whinny bitch and Kenny is his henchman.

4. These guys can't wreste.

Did I miss anything?

It certainly is strange how widely tastes sometimes vary. Man, Jackie is hot! To each his own, I suppose.

If she happens to win, I wonder how the WWF will avoid confusion between her and the Jackie they already have? Think they'd give her a gimmick with a stage name?

I think Ivory is kind of funny on this show, I mean going over to someone's house just to brush her teeth.

When is Tazz going to give them a wake-up call anyway?

Shockly the "voice of doom" has not showed her face on this show yet.
