On a tangential note, Marvel will be releasing new TPBs of the 1980s GI Joe comic.
Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family...Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance...Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth...Choose a future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?

This I know. I ordered the first volume two weeks ago.
Have you checked out the new series from Image Comics/Devil's Due Publishing? Fantastic stuff. I conducted an interview with the entire creative team a couple months back. If your interested,I'll provide you a link (I also intereviewed Larry Hama later on, the guy who wrote the entire series and was the main creative force behind the toyline.)

I've glanced at them, but nothing more. One of the perils of no longer working in a comic shop on a regular basis is the ability to read everything that comes out.
I'm slightly too old for the whole GI Joe/Transformers revival. But I have lots of friends who are like 3 or 4 years younger who are agog over it.
Me, I've been buying most of the new Gatchaman stuff, including the way cool BOTP Kubrick set.
