I wouldn't blame Cechmanek as much as I would blame the rest of the team. There are stretches in every game where it looks like the Flyers are skating circles on the ice. You can almost tell when they are going to give up a goal because they just decide to take 10 minutes off. It amazes me that this is the same team that is able to score 90+ points in the regular season and just disappear in the playoffs. At some point you have to stop blaming the coach and point the fingers back at the players.
It was a great game to watch. I figured the US was done after Canada tied it so quickly late in the 3rd, but when Carlson buried the game-winner, I jumped off my couch and cheered. A great moment for USA Hockey.
