#1 2-Pac/Notorious BIG (tie) #2 Eminem #3 Outkast #4 Nas #5 Jay-Z
Now I know some may say this list sucks..leaving Royce, Kanye, Wu Tang, DMX, Snoop , 50, Canibus and others off the list but, I'm thinking of pure rhyming/rapping skills, good beats and the ability to distribute and sell their product. (and maybe even airplay on the commercial scene)
I do believe, however that Kanye West is running up the ladder fast and so is 50 cent (if not already considered elite among their peers).
And, the Neptunes (most notably Pharrell Williams) are getting more commercial exposure. Most beats the Neptunes put together are dope.
Clipse (Neptune produced), Busta, Juvenile and Mystikal also can claim fame among the top of their peers.
do u disagree wit me..why? how could ya ?| Promote this thread! | | Whitebacon

In the context of baseball, the use of drugs hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, the use of alcohol hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, womanizing hurts whom? Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.
Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.
