Really, the title says it all, and Meltzer doesn't say any more than that really. (wrestlingobserver.com)

He could be a nice addition to Smackdown or ECW assuming he has anything left in the tank. And hey, haven't we all missed the Funkettes?!

Now I'll never be able to lead SPF's spfers! (The W)

I'd rather they signed Ron Killings. I wonder how much he can still go.

You know, every so often something like this comes up, like with the new ECW and the guys they signed for that, and I'm like, "Hey, this could be really awesome, I used to love those guys." Then I remember that was ten years ago. Now, I not only feel old, but I also wonder if 2Cold Scorpio is bringing anything to the table.

This is really cool. Scorp was always one of the more fun guys to watch. I was always shocked he wasn't signed before or at least at any of the ONS. I'd say he'd be good for SD, as SD is more focused on wrestling and he'd be good to throw in for eight-ten minute matches every week (akin to what they're doing with Tatanka.) I think this could be a Finlay-like comeback, if he can go at even half his usual speed.

Anyone seen his NOAH stuff recently?

Also, when I think of Scorp I can't help but remember what Foley wrote in "Have A Nice Day."

I dont think I've ever seen Scorpio wrestle (I can remember seeing him dance for some reason though), but that is ALWAYS the very first thing that comes to mind whenever his name comes up.

Apparently, WWE is quietly doing this for a number of guys as an extension of sorts to the Legends contracts. Signing guys that can still work to do occasional spots for the main rosters and help out with OVW and DSW. Duggan, Armstrong and I think maybe Marty Jannetty are currently on similar deals.

Scorpio has always been hit and miss with me. I guess I prefer the crash and burn style of Jeff Hardy and Sabu over Scorpio's oldschool WCW style, but when he really puts forth the full effort he is worth a look.

For me, this signing is not complete without him using his old WCW "Everybody here comes 2 Cold Scorpio!!" theme music.

Last time I remember seeing 2 Cold was on the Hardcore Homecoming I DVD against Kid Kash. He looked a little on the heavy side, but still looked as I remembered him all the way back in WCW.

Personally, I'd rather hear his old WWF theme again, myself.

After reading this, I get the sinking feeling that he's seriously going to cut his career short. I know that modern medicine can do some amazing stuff, but the neck/spine is nothing to mess with.
