Well, I held off on TNA again this week, wondering if I should gamble on whether or not someone cool would show up. Let's judge for ourselves.
Perry Saturn returned tonight and is apparently looking in good shape. He returned as, I guess, the newest member of the New Church and he's also now a TATOOED MOTHERFUCKER!! If I buy next week, I'd better see the kick-ass Saturn from the days of ECW and WCW and not the mop-fucking weirdo the WWF turned him into.
And good lord...are you ready for this? VISCERA has made his long-awaited (?) return as...Ron Killings' new partner. So much for The Truth's momentum...unless they turn Viscera into a heavy second and NOT a tag team partner.
I've got to admit, TNA's quickly becoming the place to see new things. Not just the surprises, but they're also trying to be a little different. Whether you guys want to admit it or not, an 8-man tag where a person can only be pinned if he's bleeding is a NEW and CREATIVE idea!
Combine all that with the apparent ousting of Russo as an on-air performer and I believe TNA has just gained themselves another $10 for next week.
Screw Rock and Austin! This is the REAL Wrestlemania main event! Fabolous takes the John Cena Rap Challenge!
I honestly could see Mideon fitting in well with the New Church.
RIP Curt Hennig: Yeah, they call me a redneck, but you know---that's a beautiful thing!
You don't get it boy, this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon. Something tells me to stop with the leg. I don't listen to it. But where in the world is there in the world A man so extroardinaire?
Another thing that i like about Mideon is i really never heard anything bad being said about him by the wrestlers (well you know that has been reported on wrestling news sites). He seemed to be a well liked person and they said he made everyone happy and laugh, shockingly they said he was really the only one who could make The Undertaker laugh, so you know he has to be funny. TNA should start the mWo= Mideon World Order. I would carry my mWo card right along wiht my CISUU (Christain Is So Under Used) card.
I don't think Mideon was big enough for stars to bad mouth him. He was decent in the ring.. I guess. But he never really was given a story line aside from that whole ministry which was so not needed 2 weeks after the passing of Owen Hart. Having something like that was almost as bad as all that burning of the American flag by the Iron Shiek and Sarg. Slaughter during the Gulf War.
Off the top of my head, it'd have to include... * His first WWE match (against whomever) * His IC title win against Tito Santana; I believe it was on a house show, but WWE probably has footage somewhere.
