Well...I hated the Booker loss. Not because he loss, I knew that would happen, but 2 men interfere and he still loses? Booker was in a fued with Austin and now gets all kinds of help and can't defeat the Rock? I am completely pissed about that development. I thought of the Booker as a title contender. Oh well, HHH is back and the Glass Ceiling is in full effect. With the Split coming, I would think they would have as many people in the title run as possible to get them over and be taken seriously. I guess not.

UT selling for The Big Show was surreal, yet just a fantasy. I have no idea where they are going with this, but I don't want to ride shotgun to the final destination.

I think Y2J will retain at the Rumble with HHH's help, because HHH wants the title to himself. The Book will probably get the Tazz treatment from last year. Exactly 18 seconds in the ring.

One thing I did not understand last night. Steph said that when HHH gets back she will have the security guard fired? Ummm...what?

Everybody's forgetting the most hilarious incident of the whole show: Stephanie's pants coming undone, followed by her fastening and zipping them in full view of the camera.

I was laughing so fricking hard at Flair trying to maintain his composure and not laugh. That awkward "cut to the crowd because we don't know what else to do" shot just added to it as well.

That, followed by the Rock accidently unplugging the mic made for some CLASSIC live television.

For some reason, I'm not mad about Booker's loss. Namely because I have a feeling that Rock's going to lose his #1 contender's spot thanks to some nifty Sports Entertainment™.
If Rock's going to get a title or a title shot at WM, the WWF would probably set him up for it at No Way Out; giving Jericho another month to be The Undisputed Champion™. To me, the situation is like 2000, only instead of Kurt Angle being the champ, it's Chris Jericho.

But how about that UT-Big Show match? People complain about UT not selling, yet Big Show BLATENTLY no-sells a trash can. I now expect people demanding the Show to sell. Still, the match was wierd. It was the first match where UT was the FASTER wrestler involved .

By the way, who was that security guard that wanted to see a calender of Billy Gunn and Chucky Palumbo? For some reason, he looked like an Indy guy. Any ideas?

I'm not going to order the Rumble. I just can't stand to see Jericho beaten by a moron like The Rock, and YOU KNOW that's what they're going to do. Everyone gripes about how stale the Dudleyz, Hardyz and other wrestlers are, but what about the friggin' Rock?

By the way, I had a dream last night that the WWF used the Rumble as a way to promote new guys from OVW and HWA to the big leagues after the split. All of these news guys were showing up along with old favorities like Venis and D'Lo. It was cool to see Brock Lesnar and Ron Waterman finally get some air time.

But the cool part of the dream was when two particually large wrestlers hit the ring, cleaned house, took off their well-concealed masks and were...HHH and Nash. The Clique reunited with Michaels and everybody, and I was so stoked. I marked out in my sleep.
Then I woke up, and the WWF still sucks.

I am a Book Mark, so I have to be pissed about the loss. Seriously, I just see him not really getting any upward movement. Just seeing him paired with cement shoes in the form of Big Bossman is really making me think his career is not only on pause, but in a state of reverse.

As far as Big Show/UT. I didn't mind Big Show no selling the trashcan spot. He was the face showing he could stand up to UT. So I didn't mind. UT sold for him well, so I didn't mind that match at all. I actually think Big Show walked out of that match looking relatively well. That was a match that didn't demote anyone. Unlike the Book/Rock match which reinforced the thought that The Book is a joke.

I have to be in agreement with unknown. I will watch the Rumble, but I'm going to dread the title match, as I feel the inevitability of the Jericho reign being short-circuited so that the Same Four can be on top of things for another year is just too much to take. I think they need to split the promotion in a way that acknowledges and defends the glass ceiling 100% Put Rock, Angle, HHH, Taker, Austin, Vince, Shane, Steph, Linda, and Nash in one promotion, give them Raw, SD! and all the monthly PPV's. Put everyone else in the other promotion, and they get Heat and the syndies, with a tape delayed special at 2am on TNN every 3 months. That seems to be Vince's dream, so he might as well get on with it. Every show in the GCWF can have 4 McMahon turns, and end with HHH sledgehammering everyone in sight every single program.

There, I feel better now.

It took 2 guys to beat Austin, and 3 couldn't beat the Rock. What does that say for old Stone Cold? Austin also came off looking like a bitch because while he was more than willing to help Rock after the main event (even though that wasn't exactly his motivation, it still happened), I sure didn't see Desperate For A New Catchphrase out there to help Austin while he was being fed a seemingly endless beatdown after Vince's "lunch room lights out" promo.

Blah, having thought about this now, I wish they'd use it.... to make Rock a tweener. (Yeah. Right.)

In one last SmackDown note, would somebody just scream the words "Team Canada" and get it the fuck over with? Christ.

I don't get why people seem to think it's a foregone conclusion that the Rock is going to beat Jericho at the Rumble. People conveniently forget that he's the Main Event Jobber. He jobbed to Stephanie for God's sake.

(I hope and pray it's a double main at WM18 with the title match being HHH-Jericho. Though I wouldn't mind if Rock was in it and he.... y'know.... WINS.)

Anyhow, this show pretty much shows that they're halfassing until the Game-uh returns on Monday. Just wnted to point a few things out:

1) I'm a little disturbed by the fact that UT is using the Dragon Sleeper now.

2) I'm happy for the prospects of this apparent Canadian Stable (Jericho, Storm, Test and Christian).

Pretty boring show. They're clearly saving it for HHH.

I thought that was on purpose, to imply that she`d found..another way into the building.

And Kawshen`s right about Rocky being Main Event Jobber. Jericho will certainly retain at the Rumble.

It looks like we`re headed towards Austin/Booker as a PPV match too, meaning that HHH will most likely be IN the Rumble.

I really wisht that the Rock would lose to Booker T. and the hell does the Rock need the title for anyway. Maybe the evil Canadian's will "injure" the Rock so he could make a heroic comeback and win the Rumble. Anyone other than Austin for the 4th time in 5 years.

One of the things that troubled me during Smackdown was actually while I was reading CRZ's report. What in the hell does he keep meaning when he says Stephanie looks huge? Does he mean she's fat or is he talking about her chest? What?

I wont speak for him, but my girlfriend and I have a running dialogue when she comes out... the short version is she either really let herself go, or she is pregnant.

She looks a lot heavier than she did a few months back.

I still think she's cute - hell I think Molly Holly is one of the hottest chicks in the WWF - but she does look heavier to me at least.

I love it when a plan comes together

I'm not as shocked by the fact that XPW has had a Best Of pay-per-view, but the fact they have enough material that qualifies as "best of" to string it over 5 shows.
