I think it's kind of strange, with only 5 hours left until the Raw X Anniversary Slammy Award TV whatever it's called, we haven't heard any real internet rumors about people showing up.

Do you guys think this is just gonna be a dud, or am I missing something? So far the only past stars we know to be on are Gene/Heenan/Mae Young. That's a pretty sad lineup considering all the huge stars who have showed up on Raw (Rock/Austin/Taker/Hogan/Savage/Hart/Outsiders/Henning/Max Moon).

Anybody hear some solid info on actual past stars showing up?

Yes, I know guys - these are funny I must admit, but I want to know if there's some real info out there that I'm missing. For months I've been looking forward to this show but I'm a little weary today...

I feel pretty confident that this will be a dud. If anyone truly cool was going to show up they would have at least let a little info leak. It will be nothing but the current roster, mean gene, moolah and maybe the rock or foley...

It will be nice seeing the greatest moments...but then again they have been showing these all month already...

Besides 24 is on tonight so I'll have better things to watch.

I hate to sound like every Internet Wrestling fan, but I think it will be a miss. It would be cool if it were presented like the "Best of Raw" DVDs. But it will be a un-funny Slammy Awards show. The only way it would be good is if a writer or reporter or fan like Dave or CRZ were hired to put the show together and treat the show with some respect. But I fear that they will try to be too cute and fail horribly. But I will be watching regardless. I just have to remember not to change the station too much like I did last night. I totally missed Shane.

Alas, I had made the deal that if RAW produced Shane, I would watch the RAW special, and tape 24. Although waiting an extra two hours to watch 24 pains me greatly, so I'm really hoping the show is decent. And hey, it only happens once every ten years.

Here's the list of people announced as showing up, from Da Meltz:

"Stephanie, Shane, Vince and Linda McMahon, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus, Kurt Angle, Jerry Lawler, Kane, Mae Young and Rob Van Dam as well as many surprise guests."

Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan are rumored to attend as well.

If the HOF and press conference audiences are any indication, Chicago's WM might feature a "Bizarro world" crowd to rival Toronto, Montreal and MSG.
