Cause today is the King of the the World, the Larger than Life Living Legend, the Ayatollah of Rock N' Rollah, and the first ever WWF/WWE Undisputed Champion, "Y2J" Chris Jericho, BIRTHDAY!! That's right, he's now 32.
So all I go to say is.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS JERICHO!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!
I too would like to add my voice to the chorus of millions wishing Chris Jericho the happiest of birthdays. It is not for nothing, after all, that he is a role model for billions and hero to small children worldwide. The only pity of it is his birthday will forever be overshadowed by Montreal. Anyway, a very happy birthday indeed to the king of this Jerichoholic's world!
That's what I want to see the next time they release a Y2J DVD--the entire list of 1,004 holds. And I agree, he'll likely never see it but I just wanted to express my well-wishes. As for my favorite Y2J moment--there have been many but the one that most stands out for me was his WCW Title win over The Rock at No Mercy 2001. I really enjoyed the buildup to the match, the match itself was great and finally, finally, he was allowed to win a world title -and- keep it.
Hmm, on a side note--since I do not know anything about HTML, how do I do italics? I tend to do -this- when I'm trying to emphasize a word but if it's not too hard to do italics, I'd like to learn. Who can be my hookup? Thanks in advance.
"Oh yeah...!" Hmm,yes,I want to see the 1004 moves.
My favorite Jericho moment was mostlikely...anything before 2k2 rolled around*nod*
Mattitude(ma't-e-toodeh'): Mattitude, is something that can not be taught or learned. Mattitude is something that burns within. In the ring, Mattitude is the intangible, the x-factor, that gives Matt Hardy Ver.1 an advantage over everyone else.
I'll be getting him tapes of all his horrendous matches and promos over the past year to remind him and his fans that he isn't the second coming or anything more than an above average wrestler with average mic skills who benefitted from working with 3 of the best wrestlers on earth and taking advantage of IWC backlash against a certain unbeaten DAMAN~! to garner "heat" which never really translated into crowd reaction.
Originally posted by QuezzyYou mean the Montreal screwjob was on the same day as Jericho's birthday so it would overshadow it?? I'm sure Triple H had something to do with it.
Most likely. But seriously, happy birthday to he who deserves a bigger belt than the one he has. My favorite Jericho moment was the 5 minutes or so that I thought he was the WWF Champion. After that, it would probably be the 5 minutes or so that he was a strong WWF Champion.
Why do I watch? Because every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be DAMNED if I'm gonna miss that one after sitting through this shit.
Check out the Stone Cold Truth DVD. During a post-show promo, the wrestlers hold a birthday party for Vince. After some playful prodding by Taker and Austin, Vince ousts himself at 58 years old at the time.
