I didn't particularly mean my post as a direct knock on WWE. It's just that there's a lot of people who complain about the state of wrestling. My feeling is that there is lots of good wrestling out there. TNA has had a streak of great PPVs, ROH seems incapable of putting on a bad show, EMLL airs in some homes on Galavision every Saturday, Japanese tapes are available throughout the internet, UFC DVDs are easy to find in stores, I thouroughly enjoyed the OVW TV I got this weekend.... You may have to go out of your way a bit, but there's all sorts of wrestling to appeal to all sorts of tastes out there. And I think TNA, after three years, is finally getting it right and has become a home run promotion over the past few months.

The answer to WWE's financial problems...

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

I think doing both of TNA's original gimmick matches on one show would be a bit overkill. Since they already are going to have an Ultimate X match.

It might seem like overkill but he's right, now that I've seen the pre-show segment with Jarrett, Monty and Hardy all going at it, it seems likely that they would throw in Rhyno and Raven for title match between all of them. Who knows though, the all cage match ppv was supposed to be overkill too and it was very good.

I'm 100% in agreement with Omega up there, just to clarify my point a bit. If I want to watch Sports Entertainment (which I do, esp. on the Smackdown side of things), I'll watch WWE. If I want to watch kickass matches, I'll watch TNA or ROH. Each side has drawbacks, be they Jeff Jarrett or Chris Masters.

You just won't 'convert' that many people by continually saying "That wrestling organisation you like? They suck!".

Why not, 90% of the fans of that organization say their show sucks too. So when a TNA fan says the WWE sucks they are just making it known that they agree, and are telling them of the alternative.

I find it hard to believe that they had planned to have the storyline go that long. It's a bit ridiculous. That WMX8 logo wasn't invented until about the summer of 2001 when they began to hype the event and that storyline ended in 2000.
