I enjoyed Bully Ray's two matches and the Aries/Kendrick match was really good. Even Morgan vs. Joe wasn't bad, so I would give the PPV a thumbs in the middle leaning up. This is not to discount the bad booking decisions, because they were there in droves.
The crowd was not great or anything, but they were hot for Bobby Rude vs. Bully Ray. I have read otherwise, and these people must have had the level on the TV turned way down. The crowd was into everything, with chants all the way through and they popped huge once Bobby won (although having the spinebuster be the finish was goofy).
"Put on your helmets, we'll be reaching speeds of 3!" "It was nice of you to give that dead woman another chance." "All right, look alive everybody...oh sorry Susan."- MST3K: Space Mutiny Click Here (myspace.com)
I think you're one of only a handful that think of Mordecai as a "great" character, and I think it's a bit of a stretch to call him "another Waylon Mercy." I think they may have picked the wrong guy to play the character.
