Unsuprisingly, nobody has started a prediction thread for tonight's TNA Lockdown PPV. Apathy is running wild brother! I'll list the matches and my predictions, but I'm not one for too in-depth commentary.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Mr. Anderson vs. champion "The Icon" Sting vs. Rob Van Dam

I think Sting will hold on to the belt a little longer.

LETHAL LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Immortal vs. Fortune

Uh, Immortal? It doesn't really matter, as the feud will continue!

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle

They seem to love Jarrett winning in these match-ups, but I'll go with Angle.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne
(Mickie's Hair vs. Madison's Knockouts Title)

I don't see Mickie doing the bald look, so she wins the belt.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan

Hernandez to push his Mexican America faction.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The Pope vs. Samoa Joe

The Pope, so we can complain about Samoa Joe not being pushed.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The X Division Xscape Match
Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Max Buck vs. Robbie E vs. Suicide
(The TNA site didn't bother listing the participants, so I had to find them elsewhere.)

Just a bunch of guys thrown into this, I'll pick... uh... Suicide? I guess.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Ink Inc vs. Crimson/Steiner vs. Jordan/Young vs. Magnus/Williams

I'll go with Crimson/Steiner, not that any of the teams really matter.

In the TNA image for the Immortal/Fortune cage match on their website, Flair's doing the Horsemen sign. That seems ... odd.

Also, if Kazarian and Daniels are in that match, who's playing Suicide earlier?

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Mr. Anderson vs. champion "The Icon" Sting vs. Rob Van Dam

Supposedly, all three guys are faces, despite Anderson trying his best to be a heel. Of course, they just have throw those damn Shades of Gray in there by having Immortal jump him all the time. None of it makes any sense, but I digress. Sting wins and RVD and Anderson run off to feud with each other.

LETHAL LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Immortal vs. Fortune

Immortal wins to keep this feud going. Flair ends up bleeding, for some reason.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle

When you look at the whole scope of this feud, it's been pretty one-sided in favor of Jarrett. I would THINK Angle finally wins here, but who the hell knows anymore?

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne
(Mickie's Hair vs. Madison's Knockouts Title)

Mickie wins. She has to. Otherwise, we can start wondering which of the Wrestling Gods she pissed off to go from the Piggie James angle in the E to getting her head shaved in TNA.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan

Matt Morgan's now become a native resident of Stag Nation. Hernandez wins.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The Pope vs. Samoa Joe

If this company wasn't run by chimps, these two would be fighting for the World Title, instead of fighting in a throwaway match that nobody cares about. Pope wins via shenanigans.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The X Division Xscape Match
Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Max Buck vs. Robbie E vs. Suicide

Why did they break up Generation ME? I'm still scratching my head over that one. Sabin wins, so we can have some fresh tension when Alex Shelley comes back...whenever that is.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Ink Inc vs. Crimson/Steiner vs. Jordan/Young vs. Magnus/Williams

I could make some crack about how Eric Young must be ECSTATIC that he re-signed with TNA so that he could get thrown in THIS match, but I'll just say Young's a hell of a company man and leave it at that. Remember when Doug Williams was relevant? Crimson and Steiner win.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Mr. Anderson vs. champion "The Icon" Sting vs. Rob Van Dam

- I'm really not caring about any of these, honestly. Anderson's gimmick is old and stale and I've never really seen too much of RVD (or RDV if you're going by TNA merchandise) to care. I'll go with Sting since - even though they've been doing the frequent changes thing - I can't imagine they'd take it off Sting this soon. I'm sure the main event will be better than last months, at least.

LETHAL LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Immortal vs. Fortune

In a perfect world, Fortune wins decisively and Immortal breaks up and we never hear from them again. This is TNA, however, and I predict the exact opposite happens and Hogan's team dominates.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle

Meh. This feud has gone from serious to stupid so many times, who cares anymore. I'm sure Jarrett will win here too because, you know, it's Jeff Jarrett. That's what he does.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne
(Mickie's Hair vs. Madison's Knockouts Title)

Mickie, why not. It's not like the Knockouts division is going to be anything other than the Madison, Tara, and Beautiful People show.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan

Hernandez? Sure. Probably with another promo that makes no sense.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The Pope vs. Samoa Joe

"The Pope, so we can complain about Samoa Joe not being pushed." <<< This.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The X Division Xscape Match
Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Max Buck vs. Robbie E vs. Suicide
(The TNA site didn't bother listing the participants, so I had to find them elsewhere.)

Read on another site that this is going to be the opening match, which shows just how much TNA cares about the X-Division. Jay Lethal SHOULD win since, if anyone deserves it, it's him. However, considering we haven't even seen Red, Kendrick, or Lethal (heck, even Robbie E) in how long now - I think it's safe to say they won't be winning. One of the Bucks will probably win just because.

I'm also dreading that they'll probably break up the Motor City Machine Guns, when Shelley comes back, because that's what TNA seems to be doing with tag teams now.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Ink Inc vs. Crimson/Steiner vs. Jordan/Young vs. Magnus/Williams

PLEASE, oh PLEASE let the fact that Williams eating a pin from Jordan on Impact means he's going over tonight. Magnus and Williams SHOULD be the ones to go over which pretty much means Jordan and Young will win.

Oh a side note, I absolutely think that the all-steel cage match PPV is stupid. :/

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Mr. Anderson vs. champion "The Icon" Sting vs. Rob Van Dam

-RVD and he joins Immortal.

LETHAL LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Immortal vs. Fortune

-Fortune after a failed Immortal run-in.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle

-Kurt, this feud needed to end last month, but for whatever reason, it hasn't. Kurt wins the third fall.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Mickie James vs. champion Madison Rayne
(Mickie's Hair vs. Madison's Knockouts Title)

-Mickie even though Madison has been a decent champ as well as invisible.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan

Hernandez since they seem to be building him up as a leader while Morgan is lost in the shuffle.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The Pope vs. Samoa Joe

-Joe, because he was awesome in person.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
The X Division Xscape Match
Amazing Red vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Max Buck vs. Robbie E vs. Suicide
(The TNA site didn't bother listing the participants, so I had to find them elsewhere.)

-Chris Sabin.

LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH
Ink Inc vs. Crimson/Steiner vs. Jordan/Young vs. Magnus/Williams

-British Invasion just for something to do.

I thought about ordering it, but Game of Thrones starts tonight and that will trump all.

I wasted my hard earned money last month ordering this shit. I feel TNA owes me so I will be watching it for free on the internet. There, fuck you TNA, I said it, what you gonna do about. You fucking owe me and TNA on demand doesn't cut it cause it's showing shit just as bad.

Sting better come up with a good match here. He's already said in a couple interviews that he feels he needs to deliver big time with this match because he feels the fans were royally screwed on the last PPV and he is absolutely correct. I felt raped... yeah, I said raped. I was butt hurt by that shit and it disgusted me.

As for the rest of the show, I want Kurt to carry Double J to a good match, I want Matt Morgan to win cause i like him, I want Samoa Joe to win cause he deserves to and I want British Invasion to win cause Douglas Williams is awesome. As for the other few matches, I don't give a fuck about them. Do whatever, it ain't like I'm paying for the shit. Just make it right.

Sorry, I'm still pissed about the last PPV and I feel I'm justified in my actions. They stole from me, I'm getting me money back. They fucking OWE ME!

Didn't they say they're offering six months free access to their online archives in apology to the screwy show last month. In my mindset, that's like offering a rotten bag of fruit in apologies for buying a rotten apple...but maybe I'm wrong.

So you hated the last PPV so much that you went to the trouble of pirating tonight's live PPV stream; and waste 3 hours of your night on a show you already know you won't like beforehand? And all just to "get back" at TNA somehow? I don't understand that logic at all.

They got his money last month and didn't this month. What is hard to understand? They lost a PPV Buyer, dur.

I guess the last PPV wasn't as bad as he says it was in his eyes if he's willing to spend 3 hours watching tonight's show.

He doesn't have a problem with the PPV quality, he just doesn't want to have to pay to see it. If the show isn't worth paying for, it's not worth spending the time to watch it for free, in my opinion.

So TNA "lost" his $30 that he likely wasn't ever going to spend on the PPV in the first place, but they still got him interested enough in the product to view the PPV (albeit illegally).

If I spent $30 on a TNA PPV that I really didn't like; I'd just stop ordering their PPVs and probably stop watching Impact too. I sure wouldn't go out of my way to pirate the PPVs of a company who puts out such a bad product.

I watched it cause they owed me a PPV worth my $30 and since this one had the 'promise' of the Sting match I should have gotten last month, I feel I am in my rights to see that match.

Here's what I said last month...

I like TNA. As a fan of the product, I have learned to lower my expectations when it comes to this company, but Victory Road was just a terrible series of uninspired matches and employee fuck ups. TNA has 'got rid of' the fuck up (seemingly) by not even mentioning Jeff Hardy except a couple times during the iMPACt following the offending, paid for show. TNA has also done right by rehiring and pushing one of the best workers ever to be in their company (Chris Daniels).

On top of this, the past month of free shows on television have been rather solid (for TNA, at least) and the build up to their payed show has been a (small) step above what I am usually given, which has boosted my interest in seeing this show... however... there's still the horrible taste in my mouth from VICTORY ROAD. I may have been swayed moderately into the plus side on this show, but I'd hate having to pay for it and they fuck it up somehow. This is TNA so them fucking it up isn't out of the question, I'd give it a 60/40 chance of them fucking up any show they put on at any time.

Now as a long time fan who has been buying their PPVs, more often then not, since they started from week one... You know what... THEY FUCKING OWE ME ONE.

By all accounts, WRESTLEMANIA 27 was not a good show. It did not live up to any expectations. It was basically a three match show and one of those matches (Undertaker Vs Helmsley) seems to only be a 'Great Match' in the eyes of WWE employees. Does this mean we should stop watching WWE product now? No, we go on and hope they get it right next time.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Sure, it was wrong for TNA to handle the main event of the last PPV like they did and I don't blame you for being upset about that; but it's just as wrong for someone to pirate the next PPV based on them feeling they have a "right" to steal it based on how bad the last one was.

You paid for the Against All Odds PPV, and for better or worse; you got it.

TNA even went out of their way to make it up to the people who ordered the PPV. If that isn't good enough for you, then that's not their problem.

I'd just take the $30 loss as a lesson learned- never waste your money OR time on TNA's lousy product and move on to other things. It's not like the company's booking is going to get better in a month anyway.
