Dixie sucks up to AJ in an attempt to get him to sign a new contract. AJ resists her entreaties. Calfzilla comes out and beats up AJ. Anderson returns from his injury to make the save.
Dixie has the Impact security team arrest Anderson. Anderson fights them off for a while, but eventually lets himself be handcuffed and taken away.
1. Brooke and Gail Kim (w/Lei'D Tapa) defeated Velvet Sky and ODBwhen Kim pinned Sky I skipped the above match, so I'm relying on the Prowrestling.net report to tell me who was in that match.
2. Ethan Carter III pinned jobber Dewey Barnes
Roode and Angle discussed how Roode is still bitter over losing to Angle at Bound For Glory 2011. They then brawled.
The Bro-Mans's ceremony to celebrate their world tag title victory was ruined when spoiled sports Gunner/Storm showed up. They are cashing in their rematch clause next week. Bad Influence came out to declare their quest to regain the world tag team championship of the world. Park/Young ran out to join the melay, reminding us that they are still a team. The segment ended when Daniels made Park bleed, which led Park to go on an Abyss-like path of destruction. Speaking of Abyss, this was yet another week in which he failed to defend the TV title.
3. Bully Ray (w/Brooke) vs. AJ Styles for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Ray's use of his chain was countered by Anderson's interference. The implication is that Knux and Bischoff bailed Anderson out of jail as a rebellion against Ray. AJ retained the title when he pinned Calfzilla.
AJ Styles declined Dixie Carter's new contract offer. He implied that he was jumping ship with the world title, took her keys to a car that she was trying to bribe him with, and drove off into the night.

The new statis quo for the 2013-2014 season appears to be an exploration of what happens when Dixie gets pissed off enough to become a heel. They appear to be keeping her Incompetant Character, so it is not quite the same as past Evil Bosses who we've seen before.
I wonder which villain will be the first to cross AJ's path. With Roode busy with Angle, Ray with Anderson, and Bad Influence focusing on the tag titles, the only suspect left is Aries, otherwise a babyface would need to enter the fray.
My favorite segment was the tag title melay. If they give team names to Gunner/Storm and Park/Young, and add a fifth team to the division, then the tag title division will be in its best shape in years.
Not only did Cm Punk do the "I'm leaving as Champion" angle twice, but didn't AJ make a reference to being the best in the world a week or two back in a promo?
Too bad American wrestling isn't a competitive friendly as Japanese wrestling or else I would say AJ is making a guest appearance in WWE for a PPV. So this is basically a blantant story rip-off from TNA.
Nice to see Derrick Bateman again!
(edited by CruelAngel777 on 27.10.13 1220) I believe in The Shield....
I think it'd be hilarious to see the Blue Boy strut down to the ring with his new svelte physique, as JR and King talk about his heightened skills and ability...then have him lose in under a minute. Heh.
