A very strange story has broken out on various websites (full story at tnawrestling.com) that has the TNA's house show shut in Conneticut shut down by local police.

TNA's spin seems to be that there were groups who didn't want Angle in the ring in the area. A WWE VP has gone to 1bob and had them post that the WWE has nothing to do with it.

I'm really looking forward to see how this plays out once the facts (and not TNA's facts) become public. If the WWE had anything to do with it, I can't imagine TNA not seeking some sort of revenge (or, I'd have to imagine they'd have grounds for a lawsuit).

1bob was apparently speculating on WWE's involvement, which is what provoked the swift statement on the E's part.

If the show was shut down then there had to be probable cause for doing so, and in this case it would seem that it was the fire regs of the buildings that were an issue. Even if WWE DID do this-which, for what it's worth, I highly doubt-all they needed to do was make a phone call to the right authorities. I don't see any lawsuit material there.

To those who say people wouldn't look; they wouldn't be interested; they're too complacent, indifferent and insulated, I can only reply: There is, in one reporter's opinion, considerable evidence against that contention. But even if they are right, what have they got to lose? Because if they are right, and this instrument is good for nothing but to entertain, amuse and insulate, then the tube is flickering now and we will soon see that the whole struggle is lost. This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires, and lights, in a box.-Edward R. Murrow

The crap about WWE doing it is just that. The only proof that supports that ridiculous theory is that TNA wants us to believe it.

It's their own fault that they didn't make sure their venue was suitable before hand.

Did WWE force ROH into a tent last September as well?

TNA and sites like 1Bob also need to be careful about insinuating WWE did that. THAT's lawsuit material there.

TNA have now put up a video of the James Gang standing in front of WWE HQ and intimating that Vince et al were responsible for the house show being shut down. They are walking a reeeeal thin line here, and it can only end badly.

About as thin as DX invading WCW territory so to say and trying to get into the offices.
I am sure Vince & co should just ignore this, as it could only make matters worse for their case.
But this is Vince..expect NAO midgets in your ring very very soon..;)

*sigh* Why bother?

DX didn't accuse WCW of intentionally targeting their shows with no proof. I have no doubt that this will be ignored on WWE TV, but legally they're on thin ice.

The other point here is that, after disappearing from TV and claiming that they quit two weeks ago, the James Gang are back on the company website, cutting a pro-TNA, anti-WWE promo for no real reason. It's stupid and unnecessarily convoluted.

Who is all in the WWE hall of fame? Because I have no clue only this year, but I never heard of the years before.
