(f4weekly.com) You can download it here, and probably many other places even if this gets pulled. If you ever wondered how tightly TNA scripts things, download this and get ready to sing-a-long with every promo on the show two weeks from now.
The only segments not scripted word for word probably can just lift the script from the last two times Russo did the same exact bits.
That is just crazy. I have two old Nitro rundowns from 1998 and the giant format from Mind Games but nothing is that detailed, especially in the pre-Russo WWF one.
PRETAPE - CRYSTAL LOUTHAN W/ CHRISTIAN CAGE & KEVIN NASH Producer: Vince Russo Kevin Nash naps. Christian Cage: (Sings nWo music) Nash wakes up and joins along.
I downloaded a copy and glanced at it yesterday, but I'm not going to read it 'til after it airs.
It should be interesting to see how close the promos are to the script. I would guess that they're not actually going to be exact, just because I can't imagine very many wrestlers actually able to memorize a whole promo verbatim.
Unless maybe they have cue cards or teleprompters (for backstage stuff, at least)? That never occurred to me until just now.
Anyway, the comparison should prove fascinating.
(Also, I think it's great that every Nash segment lately seems to start with him napping.)

Crap...it was taken down. Can anyone send me a copy of it?
I've seen 18 movies so far this year: Because I Said So - (2*); Borat - (5*); Children Of Men - (4*); Die Hard 4 - (5*); Enchanted - (5*); Evan Almighty - (3.5*); Fantastic Four 2 - (4.5*); Hairspray - (5*); Harry Potter 5 - (4*); Knocked Up - (4*); The Last Mimsy - (4*); Mr. Brooks - (4*); Resident Evil: Extinction - (3.5*); Shrek The Third - (3*); Simpsons Movie - (3*); Spiderman 3 - (3.5*); Superbad - (1*); Transformers - (2*)
From many interviews with Jim Cornette about how he will vehemently never work from scripts not only because hates that idea but also because he can't remember them, I would say that the written dialogue in this has to be a written transcript of the show rather than a script created prior to the taping.
Cornette speaking lines that Vince Russo has written for him also seems to go against everything Jim has said about Russo in the past, and it seems so alien to me that he would do them exactly as told.
However, the short breakdowns of each match look like they would be the kind of thing that wrestlers would set up beforehand rather than a summary of what happened, so it's difficult to tell when the document was created, before or after the taping.

That's because at the time he had his cushy WWE deal where he got paid to basically run his own promotion from home while someone else picked up the tab. Cornette is no different than 99% of guys in pro-wrestling, in that he'll do whatever gets him his next payday.

Definitely before. The format is almost identical to WCW and WWF/E production sheets that have been leaked in the past. They're used to make sure everyone knows their cues, eg once (Wrestler A) says (Line A), interrupt with (Wrestler B) music.
WCW Archive WCW Magazine Archive - Ongoing WCW Magazine archive. Includes cover scans, contents, release dates and more for over 100 publications. WCW Promotional Ads Archive - Now featuring over 150 promotional ads, including everything from PPV's to the WCW Hotline. WCW VHS Archive - Currently serving mainly as an image gallery for almost all WCW VHS releases, but will eventually host full information for each release.
Leaked or not, it's still fascinating to see how a show is written up.
There's just one thing I'm stumped on. After some of the names, a "M&E" is written. What does that stand for? Is it just production notes? It's after every wrestlers name, it seems like.

"Music and Entrance," maybe?

And now we have some confirmation from Impact itself, as the spoilers from this week's episode didn't reveal that SoCal Val & Sonjay shared a kiss at the Xmas Party, but it was mentioned in the script.
I finally got a chance to read this thing. Does anyone know what "blows comeback" means?
Second the writing looks more like a transcription of what was actually said rather than a script for them to follow. There's a lot of pauses that seem like really strange things to write into the script.

"Either way? Are you kidding me? First of all—I know what the decision of AJ and Tomko will be—when you have the opportunity to be in the camp of an Olympic gold medalist—you don't pass that up. I have everything those guys want—both professionally and personally. But you know what—like everybody else I'm sick of all the drama. So even though AJ's not here tonight—I'm demanding that Tomko meet me in the ring tonight and make his alliance with me official. Now—as far as Christian Cage goes—Cage—you might not even make it to Final Resolution—because tonight—I have a plan for you—never underestimate the brains of Kurt Angle—as they say—in a drawer full of knives—I may not be the sharpest."
Okay, so I'm writing something and I need a mainstream example of a wrestler who while never achieving main event success himself was instrumental in other wrestlers becoming big stars, A guy who gave a great rub in other words.
