It's just too hard to take a character seriously when they almost seem to be a mockery of themselves.
For this GM thing to work, she has to be like Lt. Commander Data. Having her show emotion about something is like putting Brock Lesnar in bigger and bigger matches leading up to Summerslam. It just stands to expose their weaknessess.
