If anyone has more information on this product please post it. Is there color eInk? Is this just a touch screen? It looks amazing, and if publishers start putting out all their magazines in this sort of format, I will be rethinking my paper subscriptions. If I can clip pictures and recipes...

| #2 Posted on 8.12.09 1857.17 | Instant Rating: 3.77 | So far I've been able to avoid being assimilated into "Apple Nation" (no iPod, iPhone, mac, etc.) but when/if their rumoured "Tablet" hits the market and you can get full colour comic books on this thing (the link you posted certainly looks like what the "Tablet" is rumoured to be) . . . well all hail Jobs . . . resistance is futile.

Apple's rumored tablet set for Spring 2010.
I'm torn. It is probably going to be amazing, but the article says it is going to be a 10 inch LCD touch screen. That might be a deal breaker for me. I'm pretty sure I want an eink display if I'm going to read novels on it. LCD would be fine for comics and magazines though... |
