I now have, in my posession, a promotional CD of Tim Flannery singing "The Baseball Song." I haven't heard it- don't know how good it is...
Would any Padres fans be interested in such a thing? ***Outrighted to Jersey City (IL) April 15, 2002*** Promote this thread!

AIM: # 2 Posted on 17.4.02 0241.59 He's actually quite good. His concerts are sometimes shown on the local channel here. Apparently he is from a very musical family. I love it when a plan comes together

AIM: # 3 Posted on 17.4.02 0519.23 I did not know that. Maybe we can have a San Diego sports/music concert of Tim Flannery and Doug Flutie (the Flutie Brothers have released 2 cds, I think). I don't know if jazz guitarist/former Phoenix Sun forward Wayman Tisdale or Jack McDowell have any San Diego ties, though... Hej, jag har en gris i byxorna.

Flannery was a guest today on our local afternoon talk show. He was excellent. ***Outrighted to Jersey City (IL) April 15, 2002***
Yeah, it was surprising that the Pirates had never had one. I'm a lifelong Pirates fan, and never realized that fact until Bay's ROY hype started in late July. Before Bay, the best rookie season of any Pirate was probably Ralph Kiner, waaaay back when....
