He was DWA. Driving While Asian. We're just skilled like that.
The first thing I looked for in the story was if it was alcohol related and I was very surprised they said it wasn't.
The "elin saving tiger by smashing out the window with a golf club" just adds a whole new level of oddness to the story.
BTW, if it's not mentioned in the original story (since most mainstream outlets are dancing around it), a story broke yesterday about Tiger possibly having an affair.
Patrol spokesman Kim Montes said the accident did not meet the criteria of a serious crash, and the FHP only put out a press release because of inquiries from local media.
Montes said the patrol reports injuries as serious if they require more than minor medical attention.
So, I keep seeing rumors and headlines about the alleged affair, but I haven't seen an actual source or story to it yet. Where is it all coming from are there pictures of them, third party tales, or is it coming from the girl?

I believe the original story was in the Enquirer, which allows the mainstream media to discuss the story but say "according to tabloid reports" to distance themselves from it slightly.
Presumably, you only need her named once for all the blogger sites to start doing image searches for her.
I know the Big Lead has a bunch of bikini shots of said woman in question.
Odd watching this story on ESPN. The story's clearly being reported in the context of the National Enquirer story, but they're avoiding referencing that story, even indirectly.
Woods lawyering up and putting off what a reasonable person would think was a routine interview with the police three times (the third time saying there will be no interview at all) is naturally going to feed the story.
I would totally scoff at the National Enquirer angle myself, only they were the ones that had the John Edwards affair story for a couple months while no other media outlet would touch it - IIRC even while Edwards was one of the three favorites for the Democratic nomination.
I'm not a publicist, but this is all adding up to more than it appears, and unless something else comes along 'domestic disturbance' is the leader in the clubhouse. For an athlete making ridiculous coin off endorsements, I can't imagine why you wouldn't get this story over and done in as few news cycles as possible.
Which leads me to believe it's not entirely innocent.
