I so want to be at the state fair and not here, you don't even know. BUT I'm looking to close SIX cases today, so in retrospect it's a good thing I showed up. This'll totally salvage my week.
Yesterday I sat in a SKY BOX at the HUBERT H. HUMPHREY METRODOME! and watched the Twins lose to the White Sox. Also, I did not score a TWINGO. But at least the Coke product and popcorn were on the house! Also, it was "dollar dog Wednesday" so I made the requisite two dollar donation to get some tasty Hormel meat product to go along with the free grub.
Man I shouldn't be talking about food. I'm HUNGRY and the fair is FAR AWAY FROM HERE (and a few hours yet)
Fear not, I'm not wearing this tie to the fair, although that could also be fun - I have put a "casual" outfit in the car and will be changing out of this outfit, as black slacks probably aren't the thing to wear when it's in the eighties and sunny and probably also muggy.
I STILL have no idea how I'm going to find my wife OR any of my in-laws, but I have a hunch we'll all wind up at the same cheese curd stand, or nearby the ICE CREAM OF THE FUTURE, or the SEED ART, or the OTHER CAPITAL LETTERS
I just hope they're giving away free yardsticks again. Those are a hit!

Whilst watching the Twins game on Tuesday night, I saw the Dollar Dog Promo and my wife totally nixed driving 1500 miles to get dollar dogs. Can you believe that?

That Tuesday game was kinda fun to watch, too - but I was at home for THAT one.
