Relive the past glory of this tie HERE: TIE OF THE DAY: 040112 (The W)

Man, I have MISSED not seeing "Ghostbusters" in widescreen. I didn't MEAN to watch the whole movie last night, but I did. The deleted scenes...pretty much needed to stay deleted, but you can't KNOW if you don't first SEE them.

I finally saw the Google thing on Current, and I have to say if all it's gonna be is a ZEITGEIST list, I could save my wife a lot of grief by just hopping over to THEIR site instead. Notice how they are carefully worded to avoid the things people REALLY use search engines for...

The W...orld (The W) now has *200* user pinpoints! Thanks to whoever put in their location JUST before I had to post the "won't you PLEASE be #200?" begging post. In other news, why haven't we convinced Tretas to claim Portugal?

One month after the merger, the lobby company logo has been replaced - or rather, the giant banner which was obscuring our OLD company logo has been replaced by a new, high quality company logo. That was fast? I guess

Speaking of the google maps site, one really cool thing I just noticed they added that I hadn't seen before was the "hybrid" option, which means you can see the road map outline (with street name included) layered over the satellite picture.

It's new to ME, anyway.

New to me as well.

It's like I'm stalking people, but from the comfort of my own home!

That said, I notice no one from Alabama has divulged their locations....

I'm amazed that no other Balt/DC area W's have planted a flag in RFK, M&T Bank, Camden Yards or FedEx Field.

Along with the hybrid option came increased accuracy. Bravo to Google.

I've seen the following movies this year:

Coach Carter; Star Wars III; Batman Begins; Fantastic Four

I keep forgetting to mention this, so here you are. Monday I start a new (real) job working full-time for VERITAS Software as a Sr. Tech Support Engineer for their NetBackup Unix product. There it is. Now you know.
