What a drab selection thus far this week. I have to even wonder why I still HAVE some of these ties...until I remember that I never throw anything away, and then I stop wondering.

Pretty much....there IS a method, but then sometimes I'm not very awake, so I just grab one. I used to be better at scanning a week's worth at a time, but not lately.
Incidentally, I have about six weeks' or so worth of ties remaining before I start repeating/go to the thrift store and buy another pile of ties...

I just put away 73 ties last night dating back to the week after Xmas. That did include ties for holidays and cocktail/dinner parties. We have casual day on Friday, and I took some vacation in March - no ties required. I may have repeated one or two of them but I really don't remmeber. I had more to go on the rack but my wife was starting to complain about the pile on my dresser.
