One of the earliest "ugly" ties and an early indication of what I was going to be looking for in all future tie buying.

Finest Swiss fabric

100% Polyester fibre

WPL 2555

OUTSTANDINGLY reflective tie, to the point of appearing to colour-shift while it moves. In fact, I'm having trouble NOT looking at it RIGHT NOW

Sure goes with this post background, too, doesn't it. Ah ah ah.

"Terylene" sounds like the name of a girl from Texas, assuming it is pronounced "tur-leen".

I complained to another Liberal friend about some of the Lefts tone concerning the 2004 elections. I thought it insulting to hear those red state voters caricatured as red-necked rubes. My friend asked, Well, dont you think that people who live in large urban areas, who travel and read and speak other languages are better able to make informed choices? It turns out it is superiority, not familiarity, which breeds contempt. - Pat Sajak

The background of it says "tweed jacket-conservative", but the stripes say "WAR EAGLE!!"

most "store brands" are actually made by other well known companies like that. Well, not so well known, but that make other more well-known products. Now if you could just find someone who still makes cough drops in those Sucrets tins...
