I think somebody handmade this tie from a pattern because
(a) there's no tags on it anywhere
(b) it's ONLY this fabric...there's nothing different for a lining
(c) I get really afraid of accidentally ripping it apart while I'm tying it

Sure is ugly, though. Wonder what it was made out of. Also, I wonder if with a large enough piece of fabric I could actually discern if there's a pattern in this design or not.

I like how your sig is centered with the tie scans as bookends. Nice touch.

Where did you pick this one up?

It actually looks like a rug my parents used to have when I was a kid.

By the way, CRZ, I noticed an alarming trend of ties that you post having an odd resemblance to something my parents own or used to own. I'm not sure what to make of this, but it is unsettling.

Whatever you do, don't lick your tie. It may
be composed entirely of paper soaked in LSD.

As long as you use the term "Alberta Clipper". We love that. A month ago when we were having -40 temperatures, the meteorologists were blaming Siberia(!), so it's nice to know we have someone to blame as well.
