So I finally got an iPod, a shuffle. I picked it up this week, and my wife gave me an iTunes gift card for $25. I downloaded about 20 songs, and listened to them once while on my morning run. Hooray for me!

However...I find out today that my iPod is corrupted and had to be reset to factory settings. There goes my playlist and my
iPod gets wiped out. What a waste!

Anyone else have this problem? I am totally taking it back to the store this weekend. I am in such an "Screw You, Steve Jobs" kinda place just now.

Although I know it has nothing to do with him, and I probably screwed something up.

Wouldn't you have had the songs you downloaded on your computer? My shuffle was pretty fickle, but I always just had to reload it.

Yeah...my wife pointed that out to me. Something along the lines of "Your iPod isn't ruined...the songs are on the hard drive, dumbass!"

I stand corrected.

Wow. Cracker really takes me back. I did see Urge Overkill last Sunday. That was another blast of nostalgia. Gonna go listen to 'Gentleman's Blues' now
