Noticed some interest for a Weinerville league in another thread. So I am starting this one to get a handle on the number of people who would be interested.
I generally run a couple of yahoo leagues (because they are free) so if we have at least ten interested people I will start one up.
Depending on interest we can have at least 20 members.

It is possible to pre rank your players and let the computer draft for you (the only problem with that is that you can't react to runs on possitions)
or if the general concensis is that a offline draft is better I can always change it.

I say we do which ever kind of draft would lead to the most people participating.

I agree. If we have to do it offline then that is fine with me. My AIM address is available under my profile if we choose to go the offline route.

I'd love to join, but I don't have time for a live draft. If you all decide to do the automatic, offline draft, let me know and I'll sign up.

Thanks for setting this up, brick.

A) Thanks, Brick --

B) Even with a live draft, the computer will still pick for you if you cannot make it. You still can edit your picks, etc.

I have to redeem myself from my decidedly mediocre showing thus far in the Wienerville baseball fantasy league. So count me in!

I'm in! I'm warning you now, I'm coming off a championship year (a double championship actually, my Sportsline team also won it all)!

Actually, this will be cool. I've always done public leagues before, and I have a feeling that much of my previous success as been mainly due to the lack of activity from other participants (you know the ones who don't even bother to change their starting roster to account for bye weeks). I have a feeling that this league will be full of active players. Also never done a live draft, that would be cool to try out.

And I too have to redeem myself, after my piss-poor performance in the Wienerville NCAA Basketball Tourney pool.

Count me in. I don't know if I can do a live draft, though. However, that shouldn't stop me (hopefully) from improving upon last season's #2 finish in a competitive private league.

I say we do a live draft, and for those who wish to not participate, it will be done automatically for you. Yahoo has it's own list, putting the players from best to worst in order, and will simply go down the list for you if you're not there. You can alos make your own list for the computer to go by if you want to.

Take this with a grain of salt, I'm a diehard Steeler fan, but St.Louis ain't all that impressive. Granted homefield is a good thing for them, but their turnover rate is terrible and has lead to their loses.
