I have a quick question that I hope someone can answer for me. In the old WWF video clips they show on WWE from time-to-time they always blur out the old "scratch" logo, but they don't blur out the "block" logo from the late-80's and early-90's. I know why they aren't allowed to show the scratch logo, but how come the block logo is safe to see? Wouldn't that violate the same rules as showing the scratch logo? Anyone?
It's possible it's just a "perception" call on WWE's part. They may feel the scratch logo could cause confusion with the new logo, while the old logo is clearly a display of something from the past.

It could also be (and this is purely speculation) that the judge ordered the company to change their logo and cease and desist use of it but didn't say anything about older logos that were no longer in use. Anyone else considered writing a letter to the World Wildlife Fund suggesting that they stop wasting time and money on frivilous lawsuits and use their resources to save animals? I'm in the process of drafting one.

What an excellent idea! For those who don't have the inclination to put pen to paper, Click Here to be directed to a page which will allow you to send them an e-mail.

8-3 OK...road games just suck!! We'll see how next week goes...
And be nice about it. No one pays any attention to those "yr fucken STUPID" letters.
"Of course the people don't want war ...but, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament or a communist dictatorship ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." ----------Hermann Goering, one of the original Nazis at his Nuremberg trial in 1946
Well, there is something I noticed a little while ago, although I can't remember exactly when it was.
It had to do with a Desire video for, I believe, Jeff Hardy (or one of the six men involved in the E&C/Hardyz/Dudleyz feud of 2000). They showed a clip of the match at SummerSlam 2000, in which the scratch logo was present on the apron-- but they, well, got the F out. That's right, a WWE logo on a ring apron from a pay-per-view back in 2000.
I wish I could remember exactly when I saw this, but... sorry.

And they've just now started the full-scale wiping out of the "scratch" WWF logo because the deadline in the UK to remove all references to World Wrestling Federation has passed (One such part of it forced WWE to change the "Wrestling Classics" show in England to NWA/WCW Worldwides.)
No, sorry, I mean the "If You Dare" WWE theme. The heartbeat, the drums, the heavy guitar. The one before the Cypress Hill "Superstar" remix. I use it on one of my workout CDs. It's great running music.
