NFL.com is your friend

This is up to date including the Stallworth signing from today. Hopefully, the Giants will be adding Jeremy Shockey to the list very very shortly.

They'd better. God knows we need an actual threat at TE... we love ya, Howard Cross, but we have five other people to block. They're called the OFFENSIVE LINE.

Shockey agreed to a contract with the Giants last night.

Yeah - all I read over the weekend was how the way were just waiting for the folks drafted around Shockey to sign. They wasted no time :-)

Part of me would be surprised if he plays in the Hall of Fame game against the Texans (Monday Night) but he might pick everything up quick enough to see a few snaps.

Another interesting thing is that with Shockey in now, the Giants have been trying Dan Campbell out at Fullback since they need to replace Greg Comella and Campbell is known to be a decent blocker.

I think Campbell would be fine at fullback and he could take the occaisional swing pass and do somthing with it, too.

Jeramy Stevens finally signed today too. I heard the sticking point was that part of his signing bonus was returnable if he got arrested.

What a world we live in eh?

Meyer is smart. He realizes he sets himself up to fail at ND unless they allow him a few players like Holtz had with Rice and Zorich who wouldn't get in with the usual standards, but ended up doing well on the field and in the classroom.
