Hello, folks! Light week this week as only 127 new DVDs were announced for the week of 3/8 (titles released ON Tuesday, 3/8... except where noted with other dates in parentheses). Add 32 more new titles on Blu-ray and you arrive at the whole enchilada, presented below.
As always, hover over a title to see its cover and price - and prices for new titles are almost always at their lowest when you pre-order prior to release date - click to visit Amazon and buy (and drop a referral in our tip jar). More info is provided where applicable by clicking on the IMDb link (IMDb listing), tv.com link (season episode guide), movie website icon ("official" movie website) and/or distributor's link. There's a few odd trailers mixed in as well.
Amazon lists titles by the dozen, so we keep track of the top 24 - and THOSE are represented by larger italicized titles.
For several of these sections, the top movers are at the top of the list and we work our way down.
OK LET'S GO
Not enough titles? I didn't make a PICK OF THE WEEK this week.
Hannah Montana Forever: Final Season (Disney, 2010-1) Seriously, read this description from Amazon: "It's the final season of Hannah Montana, the show that redefined television and inspired a generation of young girls. You've been part of Miley Stewart's life for four amazing years and have watched her grow up with her best friends Lilly and Oliver. Now it's senior year and Miley is at a crossroads. After all these years, does she still have the best of both worlds? Can she continue her alter ego, Hannah Montana, or will she leave it all behind to be an ordinary girl?" OH MY GOD WHAT WILL SHE DO

Inside Job (2010) With excellent timing, release of the DVD/Blu-ray comes hot - well, lukewarm - on the heels of capturing this year's "Best Documentary" Oscar - get ready to get depressed! Inside Job [Blu-ray]
ANIME VIA THE DISNEY VAULT Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) (Kaze no Tani no Naushika - Japan, 1984) English voices of Alison Lohman, Uma Thurman, Patrick Stewart, Edward James Olmos, Shia LaBeouf Tales From Earthsea (Gedo Senki - Japan, 2006) English voices of Timothy Dalton, Cheech Marin, Willem DaFoe, Mariska Hargitay For more "real" anime, scroll down to its usual home

"CLASSIC" DVD OF THE WEEK The Dorm That Dripped Blood [Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack] (1982) Daphne Zuniga (probably dies quickly but is the name you recognise so we list it first), Laurie Lapinski, Stephen Sachs, David Snow - apparently has restored about 5 minutes' worth of cuts demanded in 1982 - more info about THAT at Synpase Films (synapse-films.com) By the way, there is no "DVD" release - if you want the DVD, you gotta buy this Blu-ray combo.
MORE FURN FILMS ON DVD THIS WEEK The Sins of Madame Bovary (Die Nackte Bovary - West Germany/Italy, 1969) Edwige Fenech IS (naked a lot) Sex And Black Magic (Orgasmo Nero - Italy/Dominican Republic, 1982) La Transgressione (Italy, 1988) Alien From The Deep (Alien Degli Abissi - Italy, 1989) Surprisingly, this non-softcore title snuck into this section - not sure what *that's* about...hey, Charles Napier! What's HE doing in this movie?

Kundalini Yoga Flow Bootcamp with Ana Brett & Ravi Singh (ALL LEVELS) You suppose that's Ana or Ravi on the cover of this DVD? Kundalini Yoga The Body Electric All-In-One Workout with Ana Brett & Ravi Singh (ALL LEVELS) Same question for this DVD! That's gotta be Ravi, right? Ah ha ha. More info on all this at the delightfully named RaviAna Productions (raviana.com) where you will have to look REALLY hard for a photo of Ravi (but will quickly learn that may not be Ana's natural hair colour) AND, after you read that they have "40 years combined teaching experience," you may ask yourself how many fingers on one hand Ana's years of experience come to. BUT I KID. Good for you, Ravi! You prove what they say about old, flexible men! (I *guess.*)
NEW ADDS FOR THIS WEEK Miel (The W at Amazon) José Angel Navarro - hmmm, this is actually a CD - I wonder how it ended up here Esteban Live At Red Rocks Hey, this is ALSO a CD!
I bought the newest MST3K set right after work and am in the middle of one of the extras on one of the disks. Can't wait to watch Master Ninja 1 and Master Ninja 2, mostly because they are held in high regard by most MSTies and I have never seen it.
I will take umbridge with the slam on Jackass 3. I did see it in theaters in 3D, but the skits were funny enough for me that it is a worthwhile watch in 2D or at least Blu-Ray.
"Put on your helmets, we'll be reaching speeds of 3!" "It was nice of you to give that dead woman another chance." "All right, look alive everybody...oh sorry Susan."- MST3K: Space Mutiny Click Here (myspace.com)
