Originally posted by Joystiq Microsoft is hitting Japan right in its beloved franchises. Along with Radiant Silvergun, the company announced a new version of Human/Spike's long-lived wrestling series Fire Pro-Wrestling.
The twist this time is that instead of (legally distinct) simulacra of your favorite wrestlers, you'll be able to take to the mat with your Avatar. If you make a really big Avatar, do you have an advantage?

Okay, so it's not exactly the Fire Pro HD that I'd hoped for, but I'd still buy this in a heartbeat - though there's no word on a North American release yet.
In other Xbox wrestling news, Action Arcade Wrestling is now available for download from the Indie Games section for 80 points ($1). Having played the free trial version, it may be overpriced.| Promote this thread! | | El Nastio

No matter how much people praise this game, I just don't like it that much.
I really wish Microsoft wouldn't have rejected Ketsui Kizunajigokutachi as an XBLA game, because it turns out the disc version is region-locked (unlike some of the other Japan-only vertical shooters)...

My username is kind of inaccurate, now...
