The first ten minutes were great, everything the original fake trailer in Grindhouse promised and more. But the rest of it... man, that was long and boring. Even the splatterhouse action stuff underwhelmed by the end.

The hospital scene was a highlight. Jeff Fahey dominates this film, and I hope he gets some non-ironic work out of it.

Maybe I haven't seen enough of Robert Rodriguez's work, but I enjoyed it from start to finish.

And Mother of GOD is Michelle Rodriguez at her hottest in this (especially towards the end).

It was a borderline retarded movie, full of blood, guts, silly kills, and bad dialog. But, I loved every minute of it.

And, as Broncolance said, Michelle Rodriguez looks so phenomenal in this flick.

Were I Machete, I would have definitely chosen Michelle Rodriguez over Jessica Alba.

Of course, my friend expected him to get both at the end.

I think she just liked the character of Batman and not really much of a devoted comics reader. I might've known a Danielle when I was in college (there were certainly some pink-haired girls).
