You may have seen excerpts from Taiwan's NMA News recently when they were explaining the Tiger Woods scandal* or the Leno/O'Brien escapades** - now, Adult Swim has brought on their "dramatizations" as ADULT SWIM NEWS.
Last week's discussed Andy Dick:
This week's explains the John Edwards affair:
I don't speak the language, but Taiwan's Apple Daily can be found at http://tw.nextmedia.com/ - I think.
Catching up with [as] News news, two weeks ago was Dave Willis' "disappearance," last week's was about Kevin Smith's Southwest Air affair and tonight saw the debut of NBC's decision to air ice dancing instead of hockey (and also how Australians were offended by...something?)
ALL of them are over at Video Adult Swim (video.adultswim.com) - these are in Chinese AND English!
I know it's been about three months since I've updated this, but hopefully if you've been wanting to see these bits, you've figured out to head over to Adult Swim Video's "News" section (video.adultswim.com) like I've already said.
This week's, though, deserves a bump and an embed, especially since we're near 500 visitors (and 0 new users registered!) on this thread. Clearly, the Internet finds it profound and it will move YOU... in an emotional way.
The Internet is amazing. I did my best impression of the words on the paper, fed them to www.mdbg.net and came up with:
這一個片段 花了 兩千五百美元
which I fed to Google translate. It came up:
"This is a fragment Spent 2500 U.S. dollars"
...assuming I got the right characters.
Could that be NMA's cost to Adult Swim to produce this clip? Or something more sinister?
Also...c'mon, you gotta admit I'm pretty bad ass to be able to research shit like this and actually produce something resembling an answer. Clearly, an hour well spent!
Thread ahead: Watch the original Karate Kid movie online! Next thread: Another Planet of the Apes movie? Previous thread: The Green Hornet Trailer is here....
