Heroes came back from their break last night with an okay show. Major plot advances were Peter helping fake a plane crash to explain the death of his brother (who got quite the send-off, even for being a senator!) and getting the ability to fly. Sylar won't/can't kill Samual and is now back to stalking Claire.

Hiro is still acting like an idiot and is no closer to becoming the samurai they hinted at in the first season.

The last episode showed Claire embracing her life at the carnival and loving her father. This week she is distrustful of her father again and is suspicious of the circus.

Now, we are able to find out about Claire's old flame West, but no one cares about Peter's Irish girlfriend that was sent into the future back in season two?

People need to get over Peter's Irish girlfriend since he changed the future, she is dead. Hiro acting stupid is a combination of the tumor and mind wipe from the carnie. I was digging his dork phrases, he did show a spot of the samurai by cutting the purse strings with the butcher's knife. Claire has reasons at least this time to be pissed at Noah for covering up Nathan's death. The plane crash seemed to be a nod to JFK Jr's death and since Nathan was a pilot to begin with it kinda makes sense.

The show is going back and forth retreading storylines with Noah/Claire trust issues, tweener Sylar and Peter trying to find a place in the world. I do think the carnival storyline has reached a point where they either need to make them a real threat instead of being a cult or just get the heroes together to end it. Samuel has been a great villain, but its the same story over and over again with the recruiting. He did show some brilliance with defeating Sylar. The show has too many storylines going on right. Parkman, Traci and Mohnider weren't even shown. It is almost like the writers had this great story arch with the Carnival, but the Sylar/Nathan storyline has taken so much away from the show that they had suspend some of what they want to do. Now, that Nathan is gone, the Carnival somehow has become bloated that even cast regulars are out of the loop. I do think this is the last season and if it is, maybe five episodes this season to wrap everything up is a good idea instead of doing ten or twelve more carnie episodes.

so has anyone heard about specific stores having the Office DVD's w/ extras, like Target did last year?
