WarioWare D.I.Y. is out Dec. 31, but I haven't heard anything about whether it's good or not. Should be worth a look based on the reputation of the series.

If you're into RPG's, then Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was probably one of the year's best. I absolutely loved Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, which took me a solid two weeks to beat. And I still get playtime out of Professor Layton & The Diabolical Box. And then there's Scribblenauts.
But that still makes only five quality games, which for a 12-month year is pretty bad.

I'm intrigued to learn today there will be a Corto Maltese game for the DS next year (that hopefully will make it's way to the US).
For what they are, I enjoyed the Lego Batman and Indy games.
My DS is basically something to kill time at work.
And that I use the pedometer from that walking program.
